My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I lived there until I finished my undergraduate degree, moved to Washington DC (for work), later to the UK (studies) and finally to Paris (work), where I´ve been living since December 2009. Because of the kind of work I do, I usually don´t know how long I´ll be staying in a particular city. I´ve been enjoying Paris too much, so I plan to stick around for as long as I can. I can see myself living here in the long-ish term.

Although I am very sociable and I constantly meet people in this city, they tend to leave after a while (I mostly hang out with expats). So I´m always interested in getting to know someone new, and I thought I´d give this site a try...
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Trying to enjoy it! I´m doing the kind of work I had always dreamt of doing, living in a city I never thought I would be lucky enough to live in, and constantly looking (and finding) fun things to do and inviting friends to join me... In sum, being happy, generally speaking (many times I certainly do find things to complain/be sad about. Life is not perfect, of course, but I consider myself quite lucky)
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Being a friend
Being honest

I´ll just go with some of the latest... I find it hard to label things as "favorite"
Books: I LOVE fiction. If I have to rank 3 favorite authors off-the top of my head, I´ll go for: Jorge Luis Borges, Julio Cortázar and Leopoldo Marechal (all from Argentina).

Just as a sample of the type of readings I enjoy, here go a few of the books I had recently finished at the time of writing this... Which is probably out of date by the time you read it. I tend to read different ones at the same time, and there´s always new ones about to get delivered to my place: "NW" (Zadie Smith); "The marriage plot" and "The Virgin Suicides" (J. Eugenides); " A visit from the Goon Squad" (J. Egan), "The White Tiger" (A. Adiga), "Travesuras de la niña mala" (Vargas Llosa), "Submarine" (J. Dunthorne), "Purity" and "Freedom" (J. Franzen), "Everything is Illuminated" (J. Safran Foer), "This is where I leave you" (J. Tropper), L'ecume des jours (B. Vian). "Cloud Atlas" (D. Mitchell), "The Solitude of Prime Numbers" (P. Giordano). Some day I'll finish "Infinite Jest" (D.F. Wallace.... Would need to I commit 100% to it for a while).

I love to watch anything except terror and action movies. If I had to choose a favorite type of film, I would say that I´m a big fan of Wes Anderson.

Music and food I also like very much, but I devote less time to them.

TV shows: Flight of the Concords, Arrested Development, Downton Abbey, The Office, Weeds, Californication, The Big Bang Theory, Scrubs, New Girl, Girls, How I met your mother, Portlandia, House of Cards, The Mindy Project, SNL, Veep, Scandal, Orange is the New Black.

OK, got tired of this. I´ll tell you more personally, if we ever meet, or maybe I´ll continue working on my profile at some point.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Laptop + Internet connection

and a 7th one: coffee
an 8th one: bright colours!!

(Again, I will probably work a bit more on this later)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I should get more sleep
Should I stay or should I go
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Out with friends (dining, dancing, having a drink, watching a film or immersed in one of the many cool plans Paris has to offer)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Here?! Nothing. Sorry! Personally, quite a few. I tend to be very transparent and confess things too easily, and this is not always to my advantage.
