I like the simple to the refined. I can be happy out rambling or foraging in the Downs, skiing in the Alps, walking in the New Mexico desert, scuba diving in Australia, dining out, country pub

I produce internet and digital stuff. I try to do something creative everyday; some photography, painting, scuplture, mosaic. I look after my daughter some of the time, and enjoy various outings, country walk, or museums, or a long cycle ride, something active, and end up at a cozy pub.

Music: I like all genre of music. I just like it to be good, whatever kind it is. These days, I listen to BBC Radio 6 Music a lot, as it is a good overview of Indie and other types of music. As well, I listen to Radio France FIP quite a bit. I like to listen to the Met live on Saturday nights on Radio 3 in the winter if I am home. And some of the programmes on Radio 2 are really good as well. WFUV in New York, or WGBO for jazz. Scratch Radio for nonstop roots and dub reggae
I went to WOMAD and that would also describe the kinds of music I like.

Movies: I love cinema and movies quite a bit, from action to art house and foreign, I love it all. Favorite films include Fellini's 8 1/2, Apocalypse Now, caddyshack, arthouse, french, anything by Wenders or Herzog. Persona. Fanny and Alexander. Great performances and cinematography. Cocteau

Books: Thomas Mann, Doris Lessing, Hermann Hesse, Marquez, Rilke, Tolle, The Master and Margarita, Kundera, esoteric and spiritual books. krishnamurti, d t suzuki, william s burroughs, castenada, dan brown

Food: most types, fish, vegetarian often, but omnivore really.
