I spent nearly all of the last three years traveling around the world and still can't come up with a snarky comment about it... But I did get a rad luchador mask!

One of my proudest achievements is getting a correction accepted in the Oxford American Dictionary.

Wrestling and Brazilian Jiu Jitsuing stuff, climbing and hiking stuff, backflipping off stuff, biking around stuff, rafting stuff, and traveling to... uh... stuff?.

I like photography and people seem to think I'm alright at it.

Oh! And, I can eat an infinite amount of cucumbers. Seriously.

The last three books I read were: Robopocalypse (don't laugh! Sometimes I like slummin' it), The Great Gatsby, and Endgame. The best book ever is Around the World in 80 Days.

I love reading out loud. Especially if it involves accents (*muffled muffled* don't listen to her! My British accent is awesome!)

Movieses
I love a movie based on a ridiculous premise. Chilean kung-fu romantic comedy: check. High school gangster film noir: check. Norwegian Nazi zombie adventure: check. Genetically altered sheep zombie horror flick: duh and or hello?.

Foodses
If I had magical powers, but the price of gaining the magical powers was that I had to eliminate all but one dish from the world, I would save tacos the existential abyss.

Whether or not it's possible to use too many parentheticals, and what the proper order of nesting is... ([{}]), ({[]}), or other?

I sleep walk, and I think it's: freaking. awesome.

Last year I was sharing a room in a run down hotel in Guatemala with my best friend and awoke to see a deadly fer-de-lance slither into my bed (did I mention I'm terrified of snakes?). I remained calm (in-so-much-as one can remain calm while sleeping), got up and sat on the foot of his bed cross legged... staring intently at what, I suspected, was soon to be a spawning ground for a horde of snakes the likes of which hasn't been seen since biblical times.

He's familiar with my nocturnal episodes, and told me I was sleep walking and to get back in my bed. Of course, I didn't trust him. After all, I'd just seen a deadly fer-de-lance squirm underneath the covers with my own eyes! I expressed my dissatisfaction towards his conclusion and remained safely away from my bed.

Several -- one must assume, tense (awkward?) -- moments passed before I decided that perhaps my traveling companion was correct and that I had been sleep walking. Summarily I returned to my bed and promptly forgot the matter entirely.

(If you're one of the cool kids and you dig public radio, This American Life did an episode in which Mike Birbiglia describes his experiences sleep walking closely mirroring my own. Simply replace "jackels" with "the deadly fer-de-lance" and it's more or less apropos)
