I am pretty much a doer. I like to work hard and play hard but take responsibility to other people, job and other obligations seriously. I'm just as comfortable in flip flops as I am in a business suit.
Simple pleasures such as a good song, a good merlot, a good sandwich and a funny story go along way with me. I love nice restaurants or a dive on a road trip. I have a kind heart and love children and dogs.
Being able laugh when times are good or when times are tough is a good thing. I admire those with the character to show a steady hand during a crisis. The measure of a good person is not about finances, where you went to school or the size of your house, but how you treat others - a waiter or the cashier at Wal-Mart, a child, ...and how you treat a woman. I'm a gentleman.
Traveling is fun. My work takes me to many US cities across the country. Unfortunately it doesn't take me to Europe but I've been there too and would like to go back.
The water is my second home. Nothing better than traveling by boat with a few close friends, good music and meeting people along the way. Hope you can swim!
I love to read about history, run, lay in the hammock, watch football and baseball, watch Downton Abbey, look at old houses, eat salted baby carrots, play a little golf, ride a bike, play with kids and dogs, throw steaks on the grill and talk about the issues or about nothing at all.
Fixing and building stuff seems to come naturally to me. Sort of a God-given talent for which I'm fortunate. If it flies, floats, rides or drives, I'm interested.
I come from a fairly large family of brothers (all pilots) and no sisters ...which is why you women are such... well.. So mysterious. My three brothers are great friends.
Keeping my eyes open for a smart, smiling, funny, low drama, adventurous woman to hang out with or share in my American Dream.
