My self-summary
I'm a 25 year old Librarian just trying to get through life the only way I know how.

I don't really know how to summarize myself, I can tell you that I am a driven person, who doesn't let anyone or anything stand in his way when I have my mind set on a goal. I've been told that I have an iron constitution, that what I value in life cannot be compromised, that I stick to my guns no matter what the situation is.
What I’m doing with my life
Working full time and trying to meet new people since I'm not from around here, I'm originally from western NY. I have a very unusual job, I'm the Librarian for a medium security prison, my working day consists of a lot of crazy events that not many people get to see in the outside world.
Other than that I read a lot.
I’m really good at
I have a vast knowledge of genre fiction. Mostly Science Fiction and Fantasy.
I'm also really good at trivia I must say. So you always want to be on my team when playing trivial pursuit!

Board games are a big part of my life at the moment too. Nothing beats being at home and having a lighthearted game with some friends.

I'm decent at conducting research for people, I always get asked by my friends if I can help them in their academic pursuits.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Too many books to list. Right now I'm enjoying Steven Erikson's Malazan book of the fallen series. I also enjoy Jim Butcher, Robin Hobb, Peter F. Hamilton, Tad Williams, Stephen R. Donaldson, and David Gemmell.
I read A LOT. Most of what I read falls into the sci fi/fantasy genre.

I also love old crime novels especially those written by Dashiell Hammett and Raymond Chandler.

Movies: Seven Samurai. Taken. Blade Runner. Star Wars.

Music: Counting Crows. Barenaked Ladies. The Steve Miller Band. The Beastie Boys

Don't watch much TV nowadays.
The six things I could never do without
1. Awesome author quoting, Raymond Chandler is my go to for that
2. My books. I have a collection of around 500 at the moment and it is growing rapidly.
3. My family and friends. For obvious reasons.
4. My stubbornness (trust me it comes in handy)
5. Weekends.
6. Local Cafes
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Anything really. I get many random thoughts throughout the day. Mostly to do with puns for some reason. I'm a huge daydreamer as well. I spend a lot of time in my head.

Why people ever thought F.R.I.E.N.D.S was a good show.

The fact that I can never find a hard bristled toothbrush anymore has also been plaguing my thoughts, I don't want gingivitis!
On a typical Friday night I am
At a cafe, reading a book, doing something that reaffirms my status as a gigantic nerd.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I don't drink alcohol. Never have, never will. I don't mind if others drink though, just never been my thing.
