My self-summary
Well I find this website redundant and weird but nevertheless I'm on it. So whatever lets give it ago!

First things first. I know I missed spelled prairie in my profile name. But I can't really change it unless I want to pay to do so(what a cheap gimmick that is!) So with that I'll just have to leave it be. But really how can a prairie boy miss spell prairie? This guy! Daaaaaang it.

Any who, I just celebrated my first year here in the city. Its been quite the experience with just how much change I have encountered within one year. I guess when your a small town prairie boy this city will have an impact on ya on one way or the other.

But all in all I'm a kind, compassionate, patient guy that tends to see the best in things. I love to be spontaneous no matter what the situation I may be in. I love to indulge in self education, wether it be a documentary or a lecture at the university. I try to be as open as I can but without compromising whats important to myself. I tend to make peoples funny bones wiggle. I find humour is a remedy to most of our problems in life that we face. I'm sensitive to the arts in which my roots run deep. But yeah, I'm just a fun loving guy that doesn't take things to seriously but understands progress and sensitivity to things.

Oh, and I love pugs!
What I’m doing with my life
I am what they call a School/Student Support Worker for the Vancouver School Board. My days are busy with educating another delinquent generation of odd balls, yuppies, hipster wanna bees, nerds, and up and coming chauch balls. I mean this with the up most sincerity and gratitude that I have for the young people I teach :)
I’m really good at
Making fun happen, watching documentaries, attending sweet shows around the city, going to art galleries, cooking sweet ass meals, netflix movie nights (specifically retro 80's movies) shaking my ass to sweet beats of soul music, right brain thinking, trying to play my instruments, foundation nachos, pug walks, park beers, riding bike, coffee, rants on nothing in particular but what ever interests me, oh and being on a beach or in a park on a tremendous vancouver day :)
The first things people usually notice about me
My smile and maybe my laugh. I also find that I laugh at my own jokes for some reason. I come up with most bizarre scenarios sometimes and I just have to laugh.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I love all these things!

Books: I'm really into Charles Bukowski's books. I just read The Captain Is Out to Lunch and the Sailors Have Taken Over. It was a really good read and the animations done by Robert Crumb were pretty sweet. As well I liked The Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Night Time for I like the perspective it gives from a little guy with Autism. But I also find myself mostly reading a lot of music magazine blogs as well as blogs on how to be sustainable, loving human being.

Movies: The Warriors, Do The Right Thang!, Oceans 12, Snatch, Flight Of The Navigator, Love Wes Anderson Movies especially The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, Lost In Translation, Ip Man, Eternal Sunshine, Labyrinth, any woody Allen movie really, Toxic Avenger, Tank Girl, Docuuuuumentaries, a lot of 80's horror and grind house movies, The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, The Wiz

Shows: Bob's Burgers, Archer, Workaholics, Arrested Development, Ugly Americans, The Newsroom, Seinfeld, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Little Britton, Game Of Thrones, Mr. Show, West Wing, Kids n Hall,

Music: Constantines, Thee Ohh Sees, Kurt Vile, Dinosaur Jr, Tribe Called Quest, De La Soul, The Kinks, Local Natives, LCD Soundsystem, Mid Lake, Muddy Waters, James Brown, Parliament, Prince, Al Green, Radiohead, Real Estate, Stevie Wonder, Twin Shadow, Chad VanGaalen, The Clash, Charles Bradley, Built To Spill, Black Mountain, The B-52's, Broken Social Scene, DFA1979, Weezer, King Khan, The Hives, Dinosaur Jr, Chan Van Galaan, Yuck, Tom Waits, Sleepy Sun, Father John Misty, Tom Waits, Bad Brains, Beck, The Besnard Lakes, Radiohead, Interpol, Junip, Night Beats, Jurassic 5, Pharcyde, Land Of Talk, Marvin Gaye, The Rapture, Murder City Devils, Real Estate, Talking Heads, Public Enemy, Ty Segall, Tame Impela, Soft Moon, The Growlers, Nick Cave, and so on and so on...........................

I spend a lot of time thinking about
What I am doing, and why is it always taking longer then it should.
On a typical Friday night I am
Planning my escape by mostly going to shows, hanging out with friends with drinks in hand. But also not to oppose to staying in and just doing some low key activities like listening to music and doing a puzzle or just loungin around watching a movie.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I sometimes make machine gun shooting noises. Like how you use to as a kid! Yup! I still to do that from time to time :)
