My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
i'm on the fast track to being an absent-minded professor - i absolutely love my work, and i mastered the absent-minded thing a long time ago, as any of my friends can tell you. polysyllabic words and witty banter are the way to my heart.

i also love terrible, terrible tv...not reality tv, just trashy dramas. i feel it gives balance to my intellectual day job - can't be serious all the time, can i? i have too much pride to list them on my profile, though.

i moved to new hampshire from philadelphia last summer for a teaching job at unh. i really miss philadelphia - i'm from there originally, and i'm very close with my family - but the seacoast is beautiful! the winter has been, shall we say, less than ideal - but since i used to walk everywhere in the winter weather in philadelphia and just drive everywhere now, it was actually kind of fun. the academic job market will take me away in another year, so i'm just looking for something fun and casual while i'm here.
