My Self-Summary
I'm RAD, as in radical. My great grandfather, this dude Máximo
Gómez, fought for Cuban independence. I fight for the working
class, blue collar right to organize at the hotel I work for. It's
fun. This one time we even got arrested for blocking traffic in
Chicago.
I rep my dork status pretty hard. I was an English major in college
and when I'm not reading, I'm not going to lie: I fantasize about
it.
I speak el Spanish which in Indiana is not so common. I moved here
from Miami two years ago, and I've always wanted to own a shirt
that was covered in pockets--different sizes and different styles
all over, everyone needs a dream.
What I’m doing with my life
I work front desk at a hotel and bike and read books with big words
and listen to music created electronically.
I’m really good at
I dance like its my job. For serious.
The first things people usually notice about me

My favorite books, movies, music, and food
William T. Vollman followed closely by Wells Tower and Carles of
Hipsterrunoff.
I once went to the movies and it was one of those last minute
decisions during one of those summers between college where the
days meld together full of old friends and fueled by the interplay
of people and substances pure and bold and out of the fray one
moment i said lets see a movie and this name caught my attention,
Me You and Everyone We Know, and i knew nothing else except that it
started in half an hour so we went blank slate and I fell madly in
love with Miranda July and this movie and years later it would come
to fill the blank following the question "What's your
favorite..."
and principally I'm not one for favorites but for this one question
"..movie.." I now had an answer and was excited to share it in
the
handful of encounters when it was posed and each and every time the
poser of the question had not seen it except for once when i was
told that the movie was good.
I am vegetarian by choice and lactose intolerant by birth.
The six things I could never do without
Books Bikes Belts Baba ghanoush Bacchanalia Buffalos
I spend a lot of time thinking about
life after the Revolution.
On a typical Friday night I am
working. i go out on the weekdays, when people are few and drink
specials reign.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
Capitalism stole my father.
