As much as I can talk and talk and talk what does one write in here? I think it's going to be a work in progress, but here goes.
Growing up we moved a lot. Lived in a few countries, traveled to more. So glad my parents are into traveling and I've inherited that. I know it's a VERY cliched thing to say here but I do like traveling.
Design and Art and Photography are really important to me. I take pictures all the time. Seriously. All. The. Time. And if we hang out I'm sure you'll be in a lot of them. Something you'll have to get used to.
Another thing you'll have to get used to is my sarcasm. I try to be nice but I'm always making fun of my friends. So you'll have to take a joke (or two or three) and I promise I'll laugh when you make fun of me too. (Sometimes!)
I am most comfortable to be around people who can enjoy themselves in any situation and are flexible and balanced. If you're too rigid in things like we are probably not going to get along well. I just don't understand when people "only" do things in a certain way.
The one thing I think I should say is that I'm a city girl at heart. As much as I love to travel and am thankful for the opportunity to live in different countries, I'm really at home here. I love getting out of the city all the time. It could be a day trip or a weekend trip, or longer. I dream of long trips like taking a year off to travel the world or are on a goal to visit all 50 states etc... But I will always want to come back home. And that does not mean a huge house with a picket fence in the suburbs anywhere.
And, as such, though I am open to meeting people not in the NY area, I would really prefer meeting someone close by. I just think it's easier to get to know someone that way. I just can't imagine building a relationship with someone when we do not have the option of seeing each other everyday. Whether we do that or not.
