I'm from Indiana, with some serious interludes in France, Germany, and DC, though I currently live in my own head (rent free, I might add). Many people in NYC haven't met anyone from Indiana, but no one's perfect, so I don't hold it against them. I like to surround myself with people and things that elevate and inspire me, and especially people who invite me to play bocce ball, or squash, or show me a new magazine, or teach me stuff, or introduce me to amazing stupendous things like the In our time podcast with Melvin Bragg, or olive oil gelato, which is, yes, surprisingly delicious, or tell me about a book I must read or movie I must watch or a place I have to go to (the more ancient the better, this includes places with stalactites). These are all kind of different ways of saying the same thing, which is, namely, without further ado, gluttony about life. PS. I learned the world sapiosexuality recently. I think I'm that, within reason.
