Currently: spending a lot of time on the mats training Brazilian jiu jitsu. I also work, but that's really the thing on which I focus most. Also, music. And art. Both are driving forces.

I maintain and write content for a website for work. I also take most things pretty unseriously and am pretty sarcastic. Maybe you're sarcastic too, and then we can hang out and never be sure whether we're being serious.

Working, living, the usual. Training, hunting down new music, reading. Playing the piano. Writing...hopefully.

movies: Spoorloos, Danton, Valley Girl, The White Ribbon (and other Michael Haneke, omg, did you see Amour?), Coen brothers, Davids Lynch, Fincher, and Cronenberg, Wes Anderson, Werner Herzog, Zoolander, Pride & Prejudice, Jane Eyre, Drive. I really liked Melancholia and Shame, as well. I'm not sure if they make the favorites list yet, but they're contenders.

shows: Big Love, Dexter, Doctor Who, True Blood, House, Twin Peaks, Breaking Bad, Misfits. The Mindy Project is probably the best new comedy.

music: The Smiths, Pulp, Depeche Mode, Joy Division, New Order, Morrissey, Radiohead, Echo & the Bunnymen, Fleet Foxes, Arcade Fire, A Tribe Called Quest. Been listening to Django Django, The Shoes, The Shins, and Haerts lately too.

food: cajun/creole, indian, Senor Moose, Kau Kau. Good barbecue is like manna from heaven.

Hip mobility and macarons.

Maybe doing some sparring, maybe going to the movies. What I'm usually not doing is going to bars/clubs. It's not really my scene, but I'll still go with friends if they want. I go happily, it'll just never be my idea.
