I'm a motived, intelligent, and adventurous guy who enjoys having good conversations. My friends tell me I'm humble, easy going, and have a good sense of humor.

While growing up I kept active by participating in a variety of activates including soccer, baseball, tennis, and cycling. I still enjoy being active by going on long runs throughout the city and playing tennis / ping pong. These activates has given me an appreciation of the outdoors because I'm always up for some hiking, waterskiing, and jet skiing.

In addition to being active, I enjoy going to art shows and jazz events.

I'm looking for a woman who's intelligent, easy-going, adventurous, easy to talk to, funny, would not mind staying in sometimes to watch a movie and relax, and who is also a dog person. During my childhood, I grew up around golden retrievers and weimaraners, and eventually I want to get a Siberian Husky because of their intelligence and friendly behavior.

Currently, I'm a graduate student studying mechanical engineering and I'm finishing up a PhD. My research is fascinating and I'm glad I found a research area which I enjoy.

I have always found math fascinating and also enjoy learning how math is used to solve complex problems.

Other things I'm good at are: making people laugh, having intelligent conversations, playing ping pong, cycling uphills, and making the most amazing blueberry pancakes ever.

People notice I'm tall and my positive outlook on life.

Movies: Gladiator, The Amazing Spiderman, and any Matt Damon movie (especially the Bourne series and Good Will Hunting).

TV Shows: How I Met Your Mother, Burn Notice, Justified, Breaking Bad, and The Walking Dead. I enjoy watching tv shows with great story lines and acting. In my opinion, Walton Goggins is an amazing actor who nobody knows about.

Food: German food, every type of breakfast food, and ice cream. My favorite ice cream is cookies n cream with chocolate syrup!!

I spend much of my time thinking about my current research tasks and figuring out how to accomplish these tasks.

When I'm done with school, I'm planning on getting back into cycling. I've been thinking about what road bike I want to get.

On a Friday night, I could either be catching up with friends over dinner, watching hockey (especially the Pens), or relaxing by deciding to stay in and watch Netflix/movie. When the weather becomes nice again then I might be playing tennis under the lights.
