Bikes of all terrains, adventures of any magnitude, nature in any climate, travel from 0-star to 5-star, beer from cheap to craft, fun from spontaneous to planned. Not to say that I don't appreciate my relaxation time (I'm on my feet for 8-9 hours a day), but I generally like to stay pretty active.
I also like making ordinary plans into elaborate adventures- like instead of going to the metreon or the mall to watch a movie, I'll find a random theater off BART, ideally somewhere foreign to me, and see it there.

For work, I bust my ass managing one of the busiest coffee shops in the Bay, and I love it! Every day is a loud, hectic, exhilarating puzzle that I get to solve at a million miles per hour. Or like conducting an orchestra where the musicians and the audience are both on crack. My dream is to one day have my own shop, and I feel like this is the best training I could possibly receive.

For not work, I like being anywhere outdoors. I like taking random day trips to hiking spots I haven't yet been to, for example. I try to minimize repetition.

I spend most of my time observing things that might not really matter in the grand scheme of things- like why paperweights exist... I mean where do these people work where they have papers flying around everywhere? Occasionally I think about time, space, and other existential predicaments, but mostly I try to understand things like paperweights.

your purpose on this site is mainly to have fun with new people, and you're not going to interview me any longer than it takes to find out I'm not mentally deranged.
