My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I like to chop wood.

My dad owns a copy of Woman Hating, and my mother didn't shave her legs or armpits while I was growing up. I was also home-schooled by them. So, I think certain attitudes towards women are just a natural part of my character.

I have a degree in philosophy and all that stuff.

I like the way the light of the summer evening saturates the air.

I value the the meaning of feelings, not just their presence.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm searching for the sacred grove.

I sell perfume and vintage perfume bottles on eBay and Ruby Lane.

I'm studying classical voice. I play tennis casually, and I rock climb (boulder, bouldering) somewhat seriously.

I plan on WWOOFing at some point, and if I settle down somewhere, I'd like to be a Big Brother. I think might move to Europe for a while in order to hunt down valuable perfume bottles that were stolen by the Nazis during WWII.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
cutting my own hair

telling if fruit is ripe

eating lemons

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
new perspectives, some skill to learn, nature, the sound of stringed instruments, dog, other people
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How if you slow down bird songs, it sounds like actual music, and how the birds are hearing it this way because their experience is slowed down due to the faster processing of their brains. The world is really filled with this music. It's been filled with music before man. WHAT DOES IT MEAN?

Slow Bird Song

That's supposed to start at 2:41.

How naming things affects and limits our experience of those things. It changes what they are. Our pets become characters. The experience of who they really are is stifled. Some day I'm going to get a pet and not give it a name, just let it show its true self without shackling it with a name. Some Indian tribes believed it was a sacrilege to name certain animals. They didn't have a name for the wolf. What would it be like to experience the nameless universe, I wonder?

I think that the idea that physical objects are the only things that are "real" or "out there" and that feelings are simply in our heads is a bad way of understanding reality, being, and experience.
