I am witty, geeky, and zombie.
My Self-Summary
I'm kind of a sociable nerd/geek who is looking for someone to hang
out and have fun with, who hopefully shares some of my interests. I
don't care for the mind games that typically become part of the
whole dating process, so I prefer to start things off casual and
see where they go from there.
I'd like to meet someone who's open minded and willing to give new
things a chance. Someone who can teach me some things and can learn
things from me. Hopefully with similar taste in music to me, or at
least open to hearing new things, but still keen enough to realize
that bands like Nickelback are crap.
I'm not terribly much of an outdoors person, as my pasty Irish skin
tends to burn quite easily, but I will go on the occasional hiking
or camping trip. But it's not the kind of thing I want to do with
any regularity. I like to go on road trips to interesting places
I've read or heard about. I enjoy going "ghost hunting" at old
Civil War battlefields at night, even though I've never seen
anything supernatural. The experience itself is the fun part. I
love sharing or hearing new music with someone while driving around
at night with the windows down.
So many people I've encountered are just boring, with no real
personality that makes them stand out from the crowd. I'd like to
meet a girl who is passionate about her interests and is always
adding to them and isn't afraid to show a little excitement or geek
out over some interest or new discovery.
I like girls who are bold and assertive, hovering somewhere between
"nerdy" and "punk rock". Who are okay with going out sometimes and
staying in other times. Who know what they like but aren't so
stubborn that they won't give some things a second chance.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm working a full time office job and I'm also a staff writer for
humor website www.i-mockery.com, under the name Protoclown. Between
those and spending time with friends I try to find the time to work
on some personal writing projects on the side, but it never seems
to happen as much as I'd prefer.
I’m really good at
Witty banter, getting along with people, honesty, conversation.

The six things I could never do without
Music, my friends, a good book to read, something to laugh about,
communication, having things to look forward to
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Why people are willing to kill one another over religion. Why
people watch so much television. Why I don't have nearly as much
time to read as I'd like. Why I have to work a boring office job
while people are achieving their dreams and putting out music,
movies and books that are wretchedly awful. Why George W. Bush got
reelected. What motivates people. What tiny events in the past
would have completely altered my life through their presence or
absence, and how one seemingly insignificant decision can radically
change your life forever.
On a typical Friday night I am
Doing something with a small group of friends, either playing board
games, going to see a band play, going to see a movie or at
somebody's house watching DVDs, going to a comedy club, or at a
party. I'll go into clubs, but they're typically not my thing, so I
don't usually go unless there's a particular reason (i.e. a band I
want to see). I don't drink but I'm okay with people who do as long
as they don't go overboard. I prefer quiet, intimate environments
that are conducive to conversation over loud and wild venues.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
That I'm not a very private person.
You should message me if
You're an interesting girl who likes geeky boys, you have a goofy
sense of humor, and you don't take yourself too seriously.
