My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
For the record, I hate writing these things and am probably terrible at them, but nobody's told me that to my face yet so I don't know for sure.

I'm a gamer. Video Games are one of the things that keep me going, and I plan on designing them as a career, probably in art and media. I'm pretty well read and like to talk a lot about a variety of subjects. I'm on the net a lot, and I can get kind of nerdy. In spite of that, I at least like to think that I'm intelligent, funny, open, honest, and kind of random. Not to say I don't like going outside. More often than not I'd rather have somewhere to go and someone to go there with more than anything.

I at least try to appear as though I make an effort to take care of my body. I lift weights, swim, jog occasionally. Though I have to say I hate jogging with a passion. Running for running's sake has no appeal to me, so if I have the option for an exercise bike or some time in the pool I'll take it.

I try to make a point of being honest and loyal, even if I am a little shy initially. I hold my friends very close. I personally detest not being able to hold to my word and try to never really flake on anything unless it's totally beyond my control.

I love movies, too. Just the act of kicking back and watching a good flick really puts me in a good mood. I'm always up for a trip out to do something fun like movies or bowling, etc. If there's a chance there's an arcade somewhere nearby you can bet I'll want to come, provided I have money. >.>'

I've been told that I am very affectionate. Honestly, I just try my best to be a good guy. If you want the quick overview of what to expect with me, I make strides to be considerate to the girl I'm with. I'm honest to a point, and very open about things, maybe even a bit blunt if I have to be. I try to be tactful about it. I understand it's not just what you say, but also what you don't. I can be kind of random sometimes, but I've pretty much learned to calm myself down before I start to get annoying. I make no claims on being the perfect guy, and in my opinion any guy who does has his head up his ass. This is just what I've been told. I just try to be a good person.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Helping my dad, who's disabled and recovering from leukemia, working and trying to save up a little money, and attempting to get my priorities in order so I can at least have some idea of what I'm going to do with myself. So far that amounts to getting some savings underneath me and eventually going back to school to at least get my general ed out of the way so maybe either once I've saved some or our economy stops sucking enough for going to proper college to be financially feasible. Day to day I'm just living, working out, gaming, painting, laughing, and just focusing on being something more than what I was and enjoying my life.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Video Games
Sex, or at least I like to think I am (though doesn't everybody?)
Telling stories
Giving back massages
Singing along to blink 182
Painting little two-inch tall plastic miniatures of space men
Doing nonsensical things that get people to laugh
Barrel Rolls
I'm not half bad at lazer tag or mini golf ether.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
-Some people say I look like Bam Margera
-my hair (if I've let it grow out)
-my eyes
You'll have to find out the rest for yourself if there's anything else, I guess.

There are so many things that I like, and a lot of the things I like are pretty mainstream, but I've since stopped giving a shit about what people think about me. I'm really into action movies, sci-fi/horror films and scary movies in general. I'm something of a movie buff. If I like a book, I can tear through it like crazy. I had a college reading aptitude in fifth grade, so once a book gets under my skin, you'll most likely catch me in my spare moments reading it. I like sci-fi books, in particular the Horus Heresy series, also, Stephen King, and some of Anne Rice's older work, I avoid her new shit like the plague. With music I'm all over thr place. I like a lot of rock, punk rock, alternative, and just about everything but country. In particular, I like Three Days Grace, Breaking Benjamin, Avenged Sevenfold, and Motorhead. If I told you all the bands I liked you'd be reading for days. Aside from the rock, I like techno and some dance tracks. Crazy Frog is endlessly entertaining. I'll listen to some classical works, like Beethoven, however, I absolutely love it when a classical work gets remixed into some sort of modern track. Also, I suppose I inherited a bit of a love of Frank Sinatra and Johnny Cash. For some reason I've recently become enamored with steampunk and cyberpunk movies and books, things like that. It's inexplainable, as I know very little about them, but they just seem cool to me all of a sudden.
As for t.v., well, the list goes on. To name a couple, House, M.D., Scrubs, when I can watch it, Dexter, Ghost Hunters, Burn Notice, and plenty others.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
The internet, there's just to much cool shit to do. You can learn just about anything you want on here.

My friends. It's my personal opinion that you are defined by two things, your experiences and your friends. Without good friends people, myself especially, are nothing. I pity people who only live for themselves.

My games, they provide an escape from the world when it's just too much. Not to mention that I owe most of my creative thought process to games. The ability to do, be or create anything has always captured my attention.

My phone. Sometimes it's my only contact with the world at large.

Something to keep my attention, without anything for me to focus on, I'd be all over the place. That or focusing on something that would depress me.

My sense of humor. Sometimes it's all people have.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What don't I spend a lot of time thinking about would be a better question. I guess one of the things I consider the most is my shortcomings, and how I can improve myself. I'm fairly introspective, and like I said, I'm kind of on a quest for self improvement.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
If I'm not at home with my dad, I'm playing nerdy games with a bunch of other nerds or, barring that, on the internet, playing video games or some combination of all of the above.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm really self conscious. I suppose I'm always worried that I look, act, or say something dumb, so I overanalyze things. I've been told to get over it because there's nothing wrong with me, so I'm working on that.

You made it all the way down to the bottom here and found me interesting enough to want to spend some time with, you have interesting eccentricities and are fun to be around. Super mondo extra points if you're into video games, but if you don't, don't worry about it.
