I think I am very open minded and I am not concerned with ethnicity or religion or what you do for a living as long as you are a genuinely good person and enjoy life for what it is. Things like honesty and integrity are very important traits I am looking for. A glass half full mindset please.
It would be great to meet a person with some energy to stay active. I am usually up for anything, but could use someone to give me a little push at times. I am comfortable hanging out around a campfire or dressing up for a night in the city and enjoy doing both. A person with diverse interests would be great. Someone who is open to trying new things and if those new things turn out to be terrible we can make the best of it and laugh about it later, or during.
Almost always (actually I am always) cool, calm and collected. It takes a lot to ruffle my feathers. However, a girl who enjoys getting me to loosen up would be fun. Don't worry though, it's not that hard to do.
I enjoy exercise and attempt to stay healthy most of the time. I would like to meet someone who stays healthy too and likes physical activity. Even if you don't know how to ski or sail or golf or canoe/kayak I would be happy to teach you and I am very patient. If you know how to do all those things then even better. Maybe you can teach me a thing or two.
No sugar coating it, I am a big sports fan and watch a lot of sports and participate in fantasy football leagues. Don't be scared though, I can share the remote and it does not consume my life. Don't tell any of my friends I said this, but there are more important things than sports and fantasy leagues. It would be great but not required to find someone who at least enjoyed a ball game once and a while.
Enjoy traveling and have been lucky enough to be paid to travel for work in the last 2+yrs. Seattle, Dubai, Spain, New Zealand and now San Francisco. I'm definitely enjoying SF and the Bay Area. I get to be here indefinitely working for an America's Cup race team and even though the hours can be rough I remind myself that I have a very cool job. Update, just changed jobs so now I'm really committing to SF.
BVI, Maine, Maui and CO are three of my favorite places. I'm looking forward to seeing more of the world as soon as I can.
I suppose I could be accused of having some baggage (divorced), but honestly we all do in one way or another. It's how you handle your baggage that matters. I think I handle mine well.
