I'm a recent graduate from UC Davis who is doing what many college grads these days are doing-wandering around trying to figure out where to go next. For now, I'm managing a research lab on campus, most of which involves wrangling a gaggle of undergraduate RAs and trying to prevent the lab director from having a meltdown. Someday soon I'll start studying for the GREs, which will hopefully lead to my getting into graduate school-that way, I can get a few more years of school in before I have to actually be a grown up.

I enjoy political incorrectness, science, and family game nights. I have quite a knack for saying the wrong thing at the wrong time and I really really want to go on a cruise to Alaska someday. For now, though, I'll just be hanging out with my dog and all my other recent grad friends who lack direction.

Managing a neuroscience/psychophysiology lab at UC Davis, cuddling up with my awesome old dog, constantly changing my mind about what kind of graduate program I want to go to, and avoiding commitment to any long-term plans.

Dumping ingredients into a Crock Pot, playing Apples to Apples, looking on the bright side of things, managing a research lab, making friends, standardized tests, picking the wrong lane in traffic, creating really awkward silences, and Oxford commas.

Glasses? Smile? Those are what I get comments on the most, but who knows.
