Books- Hitchhiker's trilogy, Nickled and Dimed, The Pullman Case
(oddly entertaining...). However, most of my recent reading would
be research journal articles.
Peer reviewed journal articles- I'd say I've read more than the
average person when it comes to research articles. Most of the
stuff I had read was related to social psychology, and
developmental psychology as well. I have nothing against
abnormal/clinical psych, but it wasn't the focus of my
So many people have told me this exact phrase, "oh you're a psych
major? You should study my WIFE/BROTHER/SON/MOM, they'd make a
great case study." I promise you every psych major has heard that

Movies - I can get really picky about calling a movie good, but I

the Daily Show too. Other than that, I don't watch too much
Music- DCI!!!!!!!!!!!! If you don't know what it is, watch this
short clip from one of my favorite performances
). At least watch the
first 30 seconds. Mind blowing.
Normal(ish) stuff - Some classical, big band, jazz, electronica,
some rock, metal... Tenacious D (they require their own category!)
Also, I really enjoy a lot of the selections that Harmonix used for
Food- I'm not that picky. I love sushi, though... and it seems a
lot of people do. If I cook dinner, it will generally be some form
of pasta with chicken. It gets the job done, but sometimes I feel
like I need to learn how to do more than boil some noodles and cook
some chicken haha.
