I'm working full-time and going to school in Eden Prairie part-time for information technology. I'm pretty busy between work and school, so I don't have a lot of time to meet new people.

I'm a fairly easygoing guy and I'm usually pretty easy to get along with. I tend to like and respect most people, and I'm very open-minded.

I'm a bit of a geek... okay, more than a bit. I'm not overwhelmingly geeky, but it would be a damn lie to say I'm not a geek. I enjoy video games, and I'm very much into computers. I like most movies, games, and things of a geeky nature. I do, however, prefer people over electronics.

I'm very sarcastic, and prone to excessive amounts of dry humor and satire. It's not overwhelming, but it's easy to take me TOO seriously. I'm not to be taken seriously unless, well, there's something serious going on.

That said, I can certainly have a serious conversation. I can always have a good chat about politics, philosophy, religion, or whatever. I can also have a completely pointless conversation. Anything works.

Working, going to school... Not much else. I work full-time in IT and that's what I'm going to school for. I'm finishing my AAS soon and hopefully going for a Bachelors after. I'm pretty much career-focused right now, but I'm trying not letting my social life take a complete dive. I live alone in my house in Eagan.

Writing, Video games, Computers

Movies: I enjoy all sorts of movies. I probably enjoy comedies the most, but I like a good movie from just about any genre. I love a good action flick; Sci-Fi always gets the geek in me; a compelling drama holds my attention; horror and thrillers usually keep me entertained. I've got too many favorites to list. Consult the IMDB top 250 list; I agree with about 80% of the choices.

TV: I don't watch TV, but I keep up with a select few shows. Mostly comedy and sci-fi for me. The Office, The Daily Show, and the Colbert Report are favorites.

Books: Anything by Tom Clancy, J.R.R. Tolkein, J.K. Rowling, Kurt Vonnegut, Khaled Housseini, Mark Twain, and many other big-name authors. I tend to like classic American literature, Sci-Fi/Fantasy, political thrillers, and just about anything with a good story. That said, I don't read much lately.

Food: Food is wonderful. I like food.

Music: I tend to like a little bit of everything, but I certainly have my favorites. I usually listen to hard rock. Metallica, Guns N' Roses, AC/DC, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Foo Fighters, Motley Crue, The Offspring, etc. There's something for me in nearly every rock sub-genre. There are plenty of artists I enjoy in other genres, but I wouldn't begin to list them. It's safe to say that if it's good, I'll probably listen to it -- and even that's not always a requirement.

It's worth noting that I also have an extensive list of video games I enjoy, and this section should definitely include that. But it's too long to list. I mostly play PC games, but there are more than a few other games I enjoy. I don't play WoW, for the record.
