My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I enjoy strong wit and good satire, all things geeky, intellect, and caffeine — preferably in coffee form. I'm also a fun-seeker, a skilled social drinker, a bookworm, and a punster. I'm passionate about technology, science, economics, and social issues, but I'd like to think I can carry on a conversation about anything important or interesting, and probably about quite a bit that's neither.

I spend most of my free time playing dodgeball lately, but anything that gets me away from the computer and homework is good. I used to rock-climb like you, but then I took a dodgeball to the finger.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm working full-time as a computer systems engineer while working on my bachelor's degree (computer science major, economics minor). I play a lot of dodgeball. I've put a lot of focus into my career, and it is a driving force in my life. Same with dodgeball, come to think of it.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Computers, scrabble, writing, and video games. Dodgeball (depending on whom you ask). Rhyming. Dancing while intoxicated. Getting distracted from important tasks by my current book or game. Unexpected witty remarks.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My luscious head of hair.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books - Kurt Vonnegut, Stephen King, mainly sci-fi and fantasy (Harry Potter, LotR, Ender's Game, Song of Ice and Fire, etc.). Recently, tons of non-fiction.

TV/Movies - Any sci-fi (Star Trek, Star Wars, Stargate, star noun, Doctor Who, everything Joss Whedon). Community, Mad Men, The Daily Show, Archer, and The Newsroom are current staples. Arrested Development and Breaking Bad are probably all-time favorites. Every Tarantino, Brooks, and Python film.

Music: Broad taste in music, but I probably listen to classic rock more than anything else. Everything from Led Zeppelin to the Beatles to Journey to AC/DC is great. I can enjoy a lot of different music, but in general I listen to rock of some kind, new or old. I avoid country. Don't encourage me to sing.

Food: Coffee. Just about everything else, but I run on coffee and occasionally tea.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Coffee, my lifeblood
Close friendship
Some challenge to pursue
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
If I'll ever be done with the work-and-school-at-the-same-time thing so I can have enough free time to travel, or at least sleep, which my schedule and cats don't seem interested in. In a related story, coffee.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Playing dodgeball, out with friends, in with friends playing games, going for a run, or reading a book. Okay, okay — sometimes Netflix.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I once walked face-first through a closed sliding screen door, more or less destroying the door in the process. I was not drunk.

-you enjoy mediocre jokes and bad puns
-you'd like to discuss anything geeky, politics, science, literature, or any other fun interesting subject.
-you're not sexist, racist, homophobic, or otherwise bigoted. I'm intolerance-intolerant. Also, if you're religious or conservative or libertarian, don't bother.
