I am often described by others as quirky, stubborn and hard headed. And yes, I am all three, but I prefer the descriptions above. I love art, music and human interaction. When it comes to treating human beings with respect I become very passionate. I am very independent and have been my whole life. I was raised by two hippies so what you get is what you get. Most importantly I am a mom. The whole self summary gets a little overwhelming so instead I will just leave you with some fun facts about myself:
1. In first grade I got paddled for deliberately coloring outside the lines.
2. I can't spell.
3. I used to be terrified of aliens...the green kind.
4. I sang with the Houston Grand Opera.
5. My brother used to sleep walk and one time he came into my room and I attacked him because I thought he may be a alien. See #3
6. For some reason cars hate me, right now I have to use a ink pen to get my car into drive.
7. I am one of the only girls who does not like chick flicks...I do like scary movies however.
8. In college I bought a cow for a woman in India.
9. I have been in the musical "You're a Good Man Charlie Brown" twice. Once I played Charlie Brown and the other time I was Lucy.

I am currently working with at risk families. I love the job but admit it gets emotionally draining at times.

Listening, talking, telling bad jokes, drinking red wine, living in the NOW and seeing the beauty in everything.

My third eye...it always gets noticed right away.

BOOKS: Catcher in the Rye, Of Mice and Men, The Tao of Pooh and anything related to the job and I also enjoy scary thrillers.
MOVIES: The Fisher King, Magnolia and American Beauty
MUSIC: I could go on forever with this so I will only mention a few. Sufjan Stevens, Pink Floyd, Beatles, Cat Stevens and many others. I stay away from commercialized crap.
FOOD: Italian and Indian are probably my favs. I love red wine and dark chocolate. Combine them and well...I am a very happy girl.
