I am passionate, creative, and witty.

My Self-Summary

I'm a 35 year old man who relocated to Providence, RI for three years to attend culinary school and about a year ago, I moved back to my adopted hometown of Lansing, MI.

I enjoy surrounding myself with people that continually inspire me to improve myself and accept/expect the same in return.

I admire people who have the courage to respectfully tell me when I'm wrong, why I'm wrong and expect the same in return. Debate me, mentally challenge me.

I work in the restaurant business, which is simultaneously tedious, and exciting (I enjoy its exciting aspects more so than the tedium).

By nature, I'm a night person. If it's early in the day (before 11 AM) don't be surprised if I'm grumpy. I liken myself to an old car, I need time to warm up and get going.

Recently, I had a chapbook of poetry published by a fledgling press based out of upstate NY. While living on the East Coast, I regularly performed my poems in: Providence & Newport, RI, New York City, Boston and Cambridge, MA.

I try and support as many independently/locally owned places as possible. If you want to understand why, please consult http://portlandbuylocal.org/content/view/14/28/ which contains a lot of cited articles noting the economic impact ones consumer behavior has as a whole.

Honestly, I have highly eclectic taste in music. I figure, music is a lot like life, for optimal enjoyment they both require a fair amount of variety.

A band doesn't have to be obscure for me to like their tunes, they just have to be good at what they do.
