I used to be the type who would say, "I listen to everything," but
I feel this vague statement doesn't really explain my musical
tastes at all. In fact, I've come to realize that there's a lot of
stuff out there that doesn't really appeal to me. A more realistic
statement would be this:
I enjoy a relative handful of artists in a sea of noisy
It would take hours to list all the bands and artists I like, but
most recently I've been listening to Pretty Lights, Led Zeppelin,
Between the Buried and Me, Jimmy Eat World, Sublime, the Doors,
Deadmau5, the Flaming Lips and the Black Keys.
As far as food goes, I haven't met a cuisine I don't like, and I'm
a huge fan of atypical dining experiences. From cart food to
tasting menus I love it all. Mexican food and Sushi have my heart,
but I enjoy delving into Chinese, French, proper Italian, Cuban,
German, Spanish, Ethiopian, Mediterranean, Indian, and Hawaiian
food as well. I'm also willing to try any part of a cow or pig, as
long as it's prepared right (except the balls... I'm still a little
squeamish about trying those). If you put bacon on or in anything
Oh, and cheese... I f*cking LOVE cheese.
I'm partial to the writings of Palahniuk, Vonnegut, Kerouac,
Sedaris, Bukowski and Tolkien.
My top 3 favorite movies are: the Big Lebowski, Shawshank
Redemption, and Forrest Gump. I love anything with a good
storyline. I'm not really into horror films, mostly because I think
they're cheesy, but I am rumored to enjoy a good zombie flick from
time to time.
Currently, my top 3 TV shows are Homeland, the Walking Dead, and
Game of Thrones. I also love comedies like It's Always Sunny, the
League, Workaholics, the Office, Family Guy, and random [AS] shows.
The Food Network, ESPN, the History Channel and the Travel Channel
are on pretty often in my house as well...
I love painters love Van Gogh, Picasso, Monet, Matisse, LaTrec,
Gaughin, Kuyp, El Greco, Caravaggio, and Rembrandt. I'm also a huge
fan of composers like Mozart, Bach, Brahms, Chopin, Debussy and
