My Self-Summary

Hello there, thanks for stopping by! Let's get started cause you want to know if we click right? People closest to me will describe me as funny, charming, smart and down to earth. I have different sides to me, I can be a goof because I love making people laugh. I don't care if I look silly doing it because I think life is too short wanting, caring to look perfect all the time. Nothing beats the satisfaction I get when I break a smile or laugh from hardened or sad faces. I do have a serious side as well. I would say I am somewhat of a private person, there are things and thoughts I enjoy keeping to myself. I have a lot more to me but I don't want to give it all away, I think part of the fun in getting to know someone is discovering all the facets and layers along the way.

I have travelled enough to know that I am blessed in the grand scheme of things. I've had experiences, a diverse group of friends which enrich my understanding of the world and myself. I know about, appreciate the finer things in life but I confess I am just a girl who holds simple, pure, basic things in life most dear.

If you'd like to know where I've travelled to just ask, otherwise I personally feel a little trite listing all the places I've been. In my opinion there's always going to be someone more travelled and a long or short list doesn't define what a person is all about. However I will mention one trip I made a few years back that I adored - hiking the West Coast Trail on Vancouver Island. An absolutely fantastic and unforgettable experience.

What I’m doing with my life

Ready? Going to sound a bit cheesy...trying my best to live it with no regrets, getting to know myself and enjoying it every step of the way.

I’m really good at

I can write with both hands simultaneously.
I am a decent cook, maybe not gourmet but if you like good home cooking that's my forte.
I kickass at my job.
I take really great care of my dog.
I don't suck at drawing/painting/photography.
I'm good at keeping it cool under pressure even though I may not be inside.
I can tie a cherry stem with my tongue in under 2 minutes.
Standing up for myself/someone when they are getting picked on.
I get going when the going gets tough.

The first things people usually notice about me

If we are talking first things then I assume it to be physical attributes. That would be my hair, my eyes and when I do, I've been told I have a great smile. I have been called "cute" and "hot". Ugh did that sound a little conceited? I'm really not at all...

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Book: East of Eden, What is the What, Huck Finn
Movie: (Any zombie movie) 28 Days Later, Dawn of the Dead, Blade Runner, Le Femme Nikita, Anchorman
Music: Everything. My current fav is KT Tunstall

The six things I could never do without

1. Family
2. Friends
3. My dog
4. Diet Pepsi
5. Big juicy steak
6. hiking boots and high heel shoes (who says you have to choose?)

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Humanity. Life. Love. Puppies and Kittens. Scantily clad buff men in some kinda military/civil uniform....

On a typical Friday night I am

Drinking.
Snuggling.
Movie watching.
Patio lounging.
Driving up north.
Getting ready for night out.
Being a couch potato.
Hung over.
Running.
Working out.
Cooking.
Reading.
Online.
And the list goes on....

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

Maybe I will share some later...
