My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I cannot be summed up in a few words.

Like the weather, I'm charged with emotions that shine like the sun and crackle with thunder.I am fueled by chocolate, caffeine and passion and the belief that if you smell great, you can conquer the world.

I'm very sensual, guided by how things feel, smell and taste. I love the smell of the ocean and the feeling of sand between my toes. I have a cat and love the softness of her fur and how her body rumbles when I pet her. My favorite perfume is Ange ou Demon.

I'm originally from NY, and I'm a big Mets fan.

I am pro-union, pro gay-marriage, pro-choice and since I come from a family with generations of teachers, very pro-teacher. I have great compassion for the poor and disabled and I'm drawn to those who have warmth and compassion as well.

I'm a quirky, nocturnal type of person. I love to make people laugh and I have a wicked sense of humor. I'm a bit of a geek when it comes to new tech, toys and languages and an unrepentant chocoholic.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm a fiction writer and my first novel was published in October of 2013. At night I'm usually writing or chatting on AIM or YM. Music, research and languages are my major interests.

I just got an immersion hand blender so I'm becoming very interested in cooking things from scratch, especially soups and cooking with specific spices.

I'm also having fun experimenting with different Mac applications that let me be creative with web-design and photography without having to be an expert in each.

I really love sci-fi and fantasy and enjoy going to cons.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
writing, being empathetic, listening, cooking, researching anything, reading body language, telling jokes, 80s music trivia, recognizing accents, having perfect pitch and having an ear for languages. I'm a language geek.

I can greet you in several languages...though past that, not so much.

I'm also a decent singer if you ever want to go for karaoke.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Probably a tie between my freckles and green eyes. and my smile that make my cheeks even more rosy. They may also notice that I'm playful with a hint of mischief and never, ever, boring.

How to be a more disciplined writer. Being better organized. What makes people tick, why do they do what they do?

That the reason why reality TV shows do so well is that the viewing public has become a nation of voyeurs watching people live life for them.

Why does it always rain when I forget my umbrella?

Why is there a cloud of fur the moment I open the dryer? Why does black fur always cover my white clothes and white fur always cover my black clothes? And this is the same cat!

How many licks does it take to get to the Tootsie Roll Center of a Tootsie Pop?
