My friends describe me as wholesome, down-to-earth, sweet and yet occasionally surprising in a good way! For any of them I am a committed and loyal friend who will always be there for them in any fun or difficult situations.

I have lived in more than 5 different places in Asia, Europe, and now a happy New Yorker. I love to experience different cultures and tend to get along really well with people who have an international mindset. I am driven and have clear goals I want to achieve but also place family and friends above all else. I am always genuinely interested in everyone, but find myself distant from people who are dishonest, flaky and unreliable.

I am a good mix of being considerate and sensitive to my inner/outer world and people around me, yet always quite strong and positive especially when facing adversities in life. I am thankful to my parents' great upbringings and all the up and downs in my life that have challenged me to be who I am today.

Someone said "Life without passion is unforgivable". I believe we should all strive to live to the fullest of each day and make the best of every moment, being at work, in any relationship, or being ourselves. I have quit job twice in order to pursue what I am doing today and I am loving every minute of it. I am very focused with my work but also love to spend quality time with a sweetheart after work staying in or exploring many fun activities in or out of NYC. Always have good planning and embrace serendipity even more on my journeys, map in hand but never hesitate to take a detour to explore and always love to be surprised by the good unexpected.

Two qualities I care most about in any person in my life are honesty and kindness. If you love art and are creative, that is a big plus.

Trying to becoming a better person everyday through learning, experiencing, helping.

In pursuit of new/interesting things to learn, fun activity to engage in, good taste to savor, cool events/happenings to inspire, like-minded company who want to exchange or share, unbeaten path to travel.

Trying to help whenever I can. Volunteer at soup kitchen, donate at charities, help someone to lift a suitcase on subway stairs.

Listening/understanding, drawing, thinking glass is always half full, creating new products, following cooking recipes or inventing my own, giving and receiving massages, helping you find your keys.

My eyes. I hear that often.

The eye has to travel, In Vogue, Erte, Norman Foster Sketches...The life of others (I watch a lot of movies (Netflix subscriber and MoMA and IFC member, especially love foreign, independent and documentaries, and great 3D ones)...don't own a TV but enjoyed Mad Man, 30 Rocks and have not been watching much TV shows recently guess my time is mostly spent on movies...Jazz, Classical, Dance/Electronica, Alternative/Punk...love all food and especially Japanese, Italian and of course what I make for myself. :)

What I should learn next to improve myself, what new exhibition/shoes should I check out, what new dishes am I going to cook this week, work (creative ideas and finding solutions). Where is the best place to go for my next gourmet meal. When and where shall I go for my next trip. How to live with a lot of efficiency, effectiveness and indulgence at the same time.

There is no typical Friday for me. In the past few Fridays' nights, I was at a friend's party, a networking event, watching a movie in theater, reading a book, cooking a new dish, including one Friday night when I was walking around in Prague. Hope in 2 weeks I will be walking on a street in French Rivera.

How tricky internet dating can be. Tricky because, while I am a very monogamous and loyal person and my goal is to get off here as soon as possible, I still have to be on here so that I can communicate with my potential matches before a committed relationship happens.

And if we get to meet and there is great chemistry, is there a expectation that I or you shall no longer be on here anymore? I think that expectation is only reasonable if we both have affirmation (through a heart-to-heart conversation) that we no longer want to see other people anymore and we both get off here at the same time. But the absense of such conversation (at the time being) should not be considered a lack of interest in continuing seeing each other, as we all know that it takes time to get to know someone. So I really encourage and hope everyone here to be as honest and straightforward as possible in regards to mutual expectations. We don't live in each other's head, it will be quite a pity to give up on a possible very good relationship only because we are too afraid to ask or too naive to think that there is always someone 'better' out there.
