Hello! My name is Jenny and I love to sing! Music and ministry are my greatest passions in life. I also enjoy reading and writing. I love animals, particularly horses and dogs, and I have unusual pets. I enjoy helping people and I like to learn what makes them tick. In fact, I like learning lots if things. I do have a goofy sense of humor. I love to laugh. I also like to sketch. I enjoy short hikes and I love the water. I recently started working for the corporate headquarters of a company that supplies fashion jewelry to home based consultants and I am really enjoying it. I do want to be a mom someday. I am looking to build a relationship with a man who loves God and understands that any lasting relationship must be centered in Him and firmly planted in friendship.

I am focusing on growing in my new job, growing personally in my relationship with the Lord, and growing in music ministry.

Hmmm... I think I'm good at listening, empathizing with people. And I enjoy training people.

Usually, the first thing someone notices about me is my smile. I believe a smile can make someone's day and I give them out all the time!

Well, well, well. Where shall we begin, eh? I suppose I will just go in the order in which they were requested...

Favorite books: Besides the Bible, I like to read a lot but there aren't a lot of books I would call favorites. I enjoy sci-fi/fantasy like Orson Scott Card and I like CS Lewis and Tolkein. I also like personal growth books like "The Velveteen Woman" and "Authentic Beauty". I don't read a lot of history books but I like the classics. Currently, I am reading a book called "The Mote in God's Eye" by Larry Niven and Jerry Pournelle. I've also enjoyed a few Stephen King books. My reading tastes are quite varied!

Favorite Movies: Again, this area is quite varied in genres! I loved all of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. Of course, I LOVED the LOTR movies. I also like dramas like The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and I like action and thriller movies like Man on Fire and Saw. I loved the Princess Bride and one of my favorite chick flicks is Return to Me. Much Ado About Nothing is a classic for me as well as Noises Off. I am a bit particular about the quality but I like most genres.

Favorite Music: I suppose I could just say that I like most types of everything! The most important factor for me when it comes to music is quality and meaning. Quality as in the singer needs to be able to sing and meaning as in I prefer Christian music. The lyrics are the most important part because that is what I am thinking about all day if I get a song stuck in my mind. I don't tend to get movies stuck in my mind or even books, but music stays with me more than any other thing. I want it to be music that I would be interested in learning and even performing. The style is not the most important part, I like styles ranging from classical to rock to rap. Some artists/groups I really enjoy are Chris Tomlin, Barlow Girl, Casting Crowns, Natalie Grant, Switchfoot, Tobymac, Big Daddy Weave, David Crowder Band, Mercy Me, Aaron Schust, and Joy Williams. But I don't mind music that is not expressly Christian as long as it isn't offensive.

Favorite food: What woman doesn't like chocolate? Heheheee! Chocolate is most definitely one of my favorites! Besides good old American, I love Mexican food and Italian food. I enjoy Chinese food on occasion. The only food that is a real no from me is anything with fish in it... I do not like fish! I don't even like tuna.

Well, I like to think about new things I can do to make things better at work or in any ministry I am involved in. Naturally, these would be things in my areas of gifting, either artistic or musical.
