My self-summary
I'm that guy who smiles and says hello to complete strangers everywhere I go. I'm Loyal, friendly, polite and courteous professional guy next door who is easy to approach and easy to talk to.

I fit well with other extroverts and it would be great to strike up a friendship and just see where it goes. Ideally, something for the long term after dating for a while. I'm looking for a guy who is playful, spontaneous, intelligent, compassionate and loves to laugh.

I'm a terrible speller and I'm notoriously punctual.

I like kids, and was fortunate enough to be a part-time step dad for five and a half years.

I love to travel and see new things and I'd like to see as much of the world as I can. I'm Hoping for Vietnam or Australia in 2014

I consider myself a pretty good cook (it makes me happy) and I stay fit, hitting the gym about 4-6 times a week. I enjoy the outdoors and would choose being out and about to staying inside most of the time. Saturday night on the dance floor or dinner and a good movie at home - great to me either way, as long as I'm enjoying the company.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm restructuring and rebranding a 48 yr. old architecture, planning and historic preservation practice. It's been a pretty hard job so far, and very rewarding. Once that project is complete, I'll likely seek my next adventure.
I’m really good at
Cooking and striking up conversations with strangers
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Shows/movies:
I'm a bit of a sci-fi geek, so it wasn’t long before I had to go see the new Star Trek, and the newer Battlestar Galactica series was a multiple day/week marathon.

Modern Family, Scandal, Mad Men, Breaking Bad, Project Runway, and I have to admit, The Atlanta Housewives.
The six things I could never do without
In no particular order:
1) breakfast
2) friends and family
3) my toothbrush
4) creating value in my life through: love, affection, compassion, respect, support, communication, connection and personal growth
5) sunshine (preferably with sand under me)
6) working out, staying active
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Making sure that at the end of every day I am a man of impeccable character in both words and deeds
I’m looking for
  • Guys who like guys
  • Ages 36–57
  • Located anywhere
  • Who are single
  • For new friends, long-term dating
You should message me if
If you're good at buttoning that button on the forearm of my dress shirts that is so impossible for me to button. And, if you'd enjoy hanging around the kitchen with me while I'm cooking.
