Hi I'm Ric

I have great friends and a job at an art school that I really enjoy. Small children and animals seem to like me (the jury's still out on the medium ones).

You should know that while I eat meat I'm not a big fan of bacon. Yes, I'm sure. Yes, even that special apple smoked whatever bacon, it's just not for me.

I get great joy out of the absurd, if there is an idea that could inject people's life with any kind of good hearted (and sometimes not so good hearted) ridiculousness I'm all for it.

I am both a nerd and a goof, and have been my entire life. I love living in a city and a time where this is valued but, I'll continue to be this way even if it falls out of favor.

Also, I'm not a big fan of patchouli I believe it smells like dirt.

I teach at the Pacific Northwest College of Art; I have a group of wonderful friends that I love spending time with and a great family who I don't get to spend enough time with because they're on the east coast. I'm also renovating my house right now and preparing to tear off my roof in the near future (so if you know of a cheap place to rent a dumpster let me know).

Standardized tests and metaphors.

If you use my profile picture as a reference it's usually that I'm under exposed and standing near a shipyard -Hey OKCupid said it was my best face. I'm not going to argue.

I sing big, made-up, stupid, songs about my cat to my cat. No, I will not give you a demonstration if I meet you no matter how much you beg.

• You in no way, shape or form believe that small dogs in purses are cute.
• Not taking yourself too seriously, having a bit (or more than a bit) of a goofy side is a huge turn on for me.
• I am in no way an adonis but, I do try to take care of myself, I hope you do the same.

I'd really appreciate it if you do write that you sign with your real name. While it's always fun to write back to SuperPizzaCatLuvr46 a lot of the names on here are really close to passwords I use for my computer and I can only remember so many letter / number combinations.
