Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
After spending 30 years in the pit of nowhere, aka Akron, Ohio, I
decided it was time for a change, and also to be closer to my
sister, so I recently relocated to Las Vegas. I've been out here a
couple months now, and I'm getting to know the area pretty well,
but I'm hoping to meet some cool people, and see where it
An unfortunate consequence of growing up 30 minutes south of
Cleveland is that I am a die hard Cleveland sports fan, even though
they hurt my heart more often than not. But in general, I just love
sports and live for NFL Sundays. Outside of Cleveland, I love the
Green Bay Packers!
I'm working on rebuilding my relationship with God, and getting
into going to church on a weekly basis. I go to Central Christian
Church in Henderson, and absolutely love it! Shared beliefs used to
not be important to me, but I found out ultimately how detrimental
that can be, to have opposing beliefs. So I'm looking for a woman
who is strong and secure in her faith, and shares similar beliefs.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm currently at a cross road with my career. I'm employed full
time by Walmart, as a Loss Prevention Associate (catching the
thieves) and seasonally by Pyrotecnico, doing professional
pyrotechnics and fireworks shows for various sporting events,
concerts, festivals, etc. I love doing pyrotechnics, and am trying
to get into doing it as a full time career, but in the mean time,
I'm going to be going to truck driving school to upgrade my CDL so
I can get a good driving job and get the heck outta Walmart.
They've treated me well there, but I'm just not happy, and ready to
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Being full of useless knowledge and caustic wit, quoting movies and
songs, singing at the top of my lungs along to the radio in my car
(Or headbanging, after coming to a complete stop), being random and
sarcastic, fixing computers, and learning about technology.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Physically, it can either be my (usually) long hair, my teddy
bear-esque physique, or my facial hair (one way or another, I am
very seldom clean shaven). I can be very quiet when I am deep in
thought, which is more often than not, but once I open my mouth,
people notice my caustic dry sense of humor.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Possibly my favorite book is The Oath, by Frank Peretti. Followed
closely by the Harry Potter series, Lord of the rings series, Left
Behind series, Hunter S. Thompson's Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas,
and basically, anything with a good plotline.
Some of the movies i could watch over and over again are:
The Boondock Saints
The Hobbit and Lord Of The Rings saga
The Matrix (yes, the whole trilogy)
Gone in 60 Seconds
The Oceans trilogy
The Saw series
Pretty much any Superhero movie ever
How I Met Your Mother (minus that travesty of a finale)
CSI: Las Vegas
Buffy the Vampire Slayer
The Walking Dead
Franklin & Bash
Current obsession is the Industrial station on Pandora. My taste is
quite eclectic. I like techno, trance, industrial, alternative,
rock, metal, top 40, and anything Celtic. Some of my favorite
artists (in no particular order):
Armin Van Buuren
Nine Inch Nails
Static-X (RIP Wayne Static!)
the list could go on and on.
Food: I love sushi! I also have a major Chipotle addiction. As far
as home cooked meals, I make a mean Shepherd's pie. I also love
steak. There's actually very little that I don't like.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. My family & friends - They are very important to me, and
they put up with my shenanigans and rival my randomness.
2. My Pyrotechnic's licenses - It's a huge part of my life. I've
been doing pyrotechnics for 9 years now, and I can't imagine where
my life would be without it.
3. Music - Music is my life. I'm always referencing some random
song, and burst into (perhaps out of tune) singing
4. My motorcycle - riding is a huge stress release for me. After a
long day at work, nothing blows off steam better than a ride.
5. My spoiled princess of a cat, Minerva - I rescued her from a
horrible situation, and she became my world. I could be in the
depths of the worst depression, but walking through the door and
seeing her come running to greet me will always bring a smile to my
face. (if you're severely allergic to cats, we may not get along so
6. Google. I'm constantly searching and learning about something
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
If the Holy Spirit appears as a dove, and the Holy Spirit is God,
and God is Jesus, and Jesus is the word... does that mean that the
bird is the word?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Generally working, but every once in a great while I find myself
with a Friday off. In those rare instances, I'm either on Fremont,
most recently for the Dropkick Murphys concert, or at home spending
some quality time with Netflix.

All that I ask is that you can articulate a complete sentence. One
of my greatest pet peeves is when people type like there's a
shortage of vowels in the world, use text speak, and have the
sentence structure of a 6 year old with a crayola.
Bonus points if you know the difference between your & you're,
there, their & they're, and then & than. Proper grammar is
