I fancy myself as an independent and eclectic. A renaissance man, I have a smattering of skills from various disciplines, but have not mastered many of them). I have many interests. Gaming is one of them: Table Top RPGs, Video Games, but definitely no LARPing. Well, maybe a little, but only if you count Cosplay at Anime conventions or Acting at a Renaissance Faire.
One of my former bosses once said I was a hippie born out of my time. But that is not true: I eat things that once had faces (I wish I were a member of PETA (People for Eating Tasty Animals)); I do not do drugs; and I bathe pretty regularly.
I am pretty sure people think I am aloof and pompous. I know many things and enjoy sharing it with others.

I eat and sleep and work {and help out friends with moving, cleaning and other such thankless tasks}. Helping others is what I am doing now and I consider it work. it is I am working for some friends as their nanny. It is pretty fun. The kids have become very attached.
Those things fill out most of my time. I enjoy TV, Movies, Reading, Comic Books/Graphic Novels/Manga. I listen to lectures on physics and theoretical mathematics, as well as languages in my sleep. I find what I remember, and the dreams associated, to be quite amusing.
As mentioned before, I like Acting and Ren Faires and Anime , but not as much as some people think.
I have hopes of becoming a teacher. Specifically an elementary school teacher. I am glad I finally figured out what I want to do with my life. Now need to get finances in order to get back to school.
I have a hobby: Medieval combat re-enactment. With real armor and all that jazz. We dress in armor and hit each other with rattan weapons (like wood) in an effort to recreate medieval combat as accurately as possible without actually killing or maiming each other.

I am good at mindless number crunching, Noticing details and other repetitive tasks. Drawing conclusions is another thing I excel at, I have an analytical mind and like to deduce things. I do not really excel at anything that really comes to mind, aside from being flexible and adaptive {and sometimes excessively modest}. I have a plethora of skills and can do most things if I see a demonstration. Maybe not extremely well at first, but I gain proficiencies rather quickly. {I have excellent skill point bonuses.}
I am good at memorizing stuff. From lines for Plays to Useless Minutiae. I like to memorize stuff.

I am a male with long hair. I am confident. I am aware of my surroundings, including how others feel and think about things and the actual physical nature of my surroundings. I think for myself and will go against the flow, if the flow is wrong, from my perspective.

{i have a stick of doom and in the wetter weather a huge hat to go with it.} Well, not that much Doom, but I know how to use it. The hat is there rain or shine.

I like Gaming books. They make up most of my collection. D&D, DND, D20, Con X, ConX2.0, BESM, Paranoia those are the ones I own. I am familiar with many other gaming systems as well.
Other than Gaming books, I like non-fiction. I love absorbing information, like a sponge (just please do not squeeze my head in the hopes that some of it will come out (you get 10 cool points if you know that reference)). For my fiction books, I tend toward Science Fiction, Science Fantasy, Fantasy... yeah, that is about all. Maybe a little suspense, but not the modern stuff, old stuff. I am not as literate as I should be. I was turned off of reading by school because of the way they required it (my dyslexia and the lack of reading at home probably added to this). I hated creative writing in school for the same reason, it is not really creative, if they are telling you exactly what to write... but I digress.

My favourite movies are comedies and Sci-Fi. Fantasy genre movies are right up there also. Oh and I adore movies from the 1980s. Terrible B-Movies are super great also.

I listen to a lot of different types of music. What ever I feel like at the time, although I tend to avoid nearly all rap and most country. I like Pretty much all forms of rock. Acid, progressive, metal, goth; pretty much any of it. I like bluegrass and some older country (not any of that tear in my beer stuff or any of the new stuff that is pretty much pop music. I like electronica, techno, nerd rap, trance, D&B... you get the picture. Oh and show tunes. I love me some show tunes. I remember all of them from the shows I was in, but do not have as many on my MP3 player as I would like.

Food, is a lot like music. I consider myself a gourmand. Where a glutton enjoys the act of eating and a gourmet enjoys the act of preparing and a connoisseur only appreciates the best food, a gourmand enjoys all aspects of food. There are a few types that I do not like. Texture is very important to me when it comes to food. This leads me to not like mushrooms. I also do not care for fish, the flavour is just not good to me. This is not to say I will not eat these types of foods or appreciate the preparation of them. On the contrary, I will appreciate everything except eating it, but will eat it (you would be surprised at what you will eat when you are hungry enough).

Knowledge. Humour. The 4 'S's (Since they are all together as life's actual necessities, I list them as one: Sustenance, Shelter, Sleep and Socializing).... Music (It has always been around, and now that I have a portable music player again, I find I am always listening to it)... More to come....

What to do in worst case scenarios. I expect things will go wrong, that keeps this from happening. You know, changing the outcome of an occurance by observation. Like looking for an electron or a cat (10 cool points if I do not have to explain Schrödinger's cat or the Heisenberg uncertainty principle to you and you do not have to Wiki it).
I figure the government will become fascist or fall into anarchy, and I will have to defend myself from the Military or the Masses. Or there will be an uprising of the Zed-word or the Z-word, if you happen to be American as you likely are (we do not say Zombie or Zombi, because it is silly). Or what if I am attacked by a shark or crocodile or bees (I have a tolerance for bees, actually, since I was once a Bee Keeper). Still what if...

(Samuel Clemons once commented that puns were the lowest form of humor. Well, if I say so myself, what I lack in quality, I certainly make up for in quantity.)

Might as well make this my entire weekend, eh?
On any free evening, I might go out to the pub or to a friends house to watch anime with other friends. I might happen that I go out to roll dice. Gaming, not gambling... pen, paper, dice and story.
Sunday during the day is Fight practice.
On the weekends, I might work with friends of mind on film or other projects. Or perhaps go on a downtown adventure or to a cemetery, forest or beach for taking pictures(photography).

Well, lets see. I suppose I will wait to see what people ask. Yes, it will be a fun game. Ask me your questions, I will let you know if it is more than I am willing to share. I will put the Questions people ask me and the answers I am willing to share in this box.

You want to, I guess. I mean, what am I going to say here that will change your mind one way or the other. You have already read this far, and likely looked at my pictures and test results... so there you have it. This is me, as well as these feeble words can represent me. If you have gotten this far, you might as well say hello. The worst that could happen is that I do not respond or make fun of you. See not that bad.
