I'm pretty easy going. I like meeting people and talking to strangers, and I also love icebreakers.

I'm pretty sarcastic, and I've enjoyed watching bad movies ever since grade school, when I saw my first bad horror movie: Count Yorga, Vampire.

I definitely overthink things. I actually didn't have a major for three whole years in college because I couldn't decide on a major. Plus I think I'm easily excited by new things.

I'm also kind of a nerd. I've been known to reread my old psych textbooks on occasion.

I also went to Hong Kong not too long ago, and now I really feel like traveling the world. Which I really am going to finally do someday.

I’m working for Epic (it seems like everyone else on here uses a euphemism for Epic, like “healthcare IT” or “a large software company”, so I guess I’ll just come out and say it). If you have any MyChart questions, I’m your man.

Now that it’s summer I hope to do all sorts of fun things – go kayaking, see live music, hang out on the terrace, read a good book on the terrace, go swimming, do some slack lining, etc.

Knowing all my friends' parents' favorite songs on the piano (once I start playing classic rock, I just can't stop)
Doing karaoke no matter how sober I am (mostly R Kelly)

Apparently I smile a lot

Books: Russian literature, especially Tolstoy, Flann O'Brien, Watership Down (I've read it every couple years since I was ten or so), Mishima, and really anything about analytic philosophy or cognitive psychology

Movies: awesomely bad movies (I've seen the Room an embarrassing number of times)

Music: Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Oscar Peterson, Elliott Smith, Arcade Fire, David Bowie, Dan Nimmer, Queen, Radiohead, Soulive, the Budos Band, Beach House, Jimi Henrix, R. Kelly (probably the greatest lyricist of our time), etc.

Food: stuff that's so spicy it's almost painful

TV: I’m officially addicted to Game of Thrones – and if you think this is funny, we just might get along:

Usually either going out and probably dancing somewhere, or staying in with friends and watching a movie or playing a game something. Pretty generic, but it’s true.
