I am a trained teacher who is working at a before and after school care program and I am currently being trained to be the manager.
I adore reading, and if I am not hanging out with friends or playing online, I can be found with a book in my hands.
I am a bit of a geek and I love sci fi and I do read a few web comics. I would love to go to Dragon Con at some point in the future.
I like to do some arts and crafts but more for entertainment than with any real skill. I do cross stitch and painting mostly but I love trying new things. Also I am a hex to sewing machines and should not be allowed to touch them. I have made 2 spontaneously combust (well they didn't burst into flames but one of them did start smoking), and 3 or 4 others automatically tangle themselves up (I swear all I did was turn them on....honest!) So no more sewing machines for me, so it's a lucky thing I know how to hand sew things.
I love traveling and I want to see as much of the world as I can. So far I have been to London, and spent a day in Paris and in Tokyo. I want to go back to all three, as well as almost everywhere else on the globe. A little ambitious I guess but it seems like a good ambition to me.

Training to be a manager of a before and after school care program. I may be spending a year in the states working as a Nanny, depends if it pans out. Ultimately I am end up retraining as a counselor or something similar, but it depends on what happens over the next year or so.
If a partner and kids happen the plan will undoubtedly change, but that is in the future.

I love baking and in my family I am known as the person who bakes the best cakes, pies and specialist desserts. I love reading and will happily spend hours doing it. I am good at playing balderdash (which sounds a little lame I know but it is fun with the right group of people -plus I'm a bit of a geek)

I am a cheerful person, who loves talking and is interested in others, reasonably intelligent and a bit of a geek.

I adore any books by Terry Pratchett, LK Hamilton,Sherrilyn Kenyon, Amanda Quick, Mercedes Lackey, Jeff Lindsay,Phillipa Greogory, David Eddings, Charlaine Harris, Robin McKinly, Simon R Green... ok so the list goes on for a while and I can't fit them all on but they tend towards fantasy, sci-fi and some mysteries.
I like sci fi movies and some romantic comedies, action films are also fun.
Music I am a bit ecclectic but do love rock.

Food, air, water, hugs, books, and friends/family.

Possibly sunlight should be on the list too but hey I can always eat sprouts, you can't grow instant friends!

Pondering things that when I talk to other people about them they sound a little why the heck is she thinking about that? However when they've thought about it too I get some good discussions. Also I do tend to think about my pet peeves sometimes and why they bother me, random things I have heard and play about with in my head, and things that I want to do.
Usually there is a song stuck in my head as well! That can be anything to the song I was playing 5 minutes ago to ones I haven't heard for years.... or the one that I had someone remind me of.

Hanging out with mates (friends) having fun. Going to the movies or for a night time stroll on the beach. Simple stuff usually but sometimes a party or whatever.

That I drink very little because I have a very weird reaction to alcohol which while it isn't embarrassing in and of itself it can lead to embarrassing situations.

You are a geek who likes bigger girls. Or not a geek, or just someone who wants to make friends... or cos your bored and I sound random or entertaining.... or because you love books and you know an excellent new author who I should try. Or just because.
