I am very extroverted, nerdy, and driven.

I am an Epic transplant, who is looking to eventually go to medical school. In an ideal world, I see myself providing healthcare to undersearved population (particularly women in developing countries). I have always admired organization like PIH and MSF, and would be honored to work with them at some point in the future. That sort of work is the only thing I have come up with that meets all the qualities I require in my future career: intellectual stimulation, a moral framework, collaboration, a concrete skillset, the ability to see the tangible output of my labor, and a physical activity.

I have a very dark nose freckle that almost everyone insists is smudged make up.

The fact that being family does not require being related and that being related doesn't necessarily make you family. I come from a very big family, and wouldn't want it any other way. They mean the world to me and we are always "all up in each other's business." Most importantly, what makes them my family is the fact that I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that they will always be there to catch me if I fall.

Also, I think a lot about the difference between being a nice person and being a good person -- and how many times those two traits do not go hand in hand.

I majored in art in college before switching to econ and government.
