My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Like you, I would rather meet someone serendipitously in the real world, but I'm willing to see where this might lead. I have a large extended family here in the east bay where I am from. We all thoroughly enjoy each other's perspective, intelligence, humor and company. My parents are still happily married. I have 7 nieces and nephews who I adore and two previous step kids I love.

I have been fortunate to have traveled through much of the world and am always inspired when I leave the US. A couple years ago I took a trip to southern Africa to get involved with a wonderful organization that installs shallow wells for African Villages who have never had access to clean, fresh water before. Very exciting stuff. African people are extraordinary and special. For work I am working on an entrepreneurial venture that gives presenters the ability to add highly effective cartoon humor, quotes, and graphics to their presentations and social media campaigns. I'm an EFNP for you Myers Briggs fans.

I enjoy walks in the east bay parks, trips to the coastal beaches and taking time to slow down. I have had to deal with my fair share of life lessons learned. I'm doing the best I can to learn and grow from them.

I am looking to start a friendship with a creative, attractive, perceptive, self aware, slender, playful woman with a nice sense of humor who makes me laugh and whom I do the same for. You love being in Paris and taking a train through Italy and wondering why would you ever leave. You are fascinated with the mystery of life. Taking pure pleasure in the experience of being alive is not uncommon for you. Maybe I'm asking too much. The truth is, I want to have my cake, and eat it too. We can eat it together.

Favorite Quotes:

The people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.

If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you.

Have fun with your body, it’s the greatest instrument you’ll ever own.

Homer Simpson to a group of aliens:
“Don’t eat me! I have a wife and children! Eat them.”

Remember that more than 3 billion people live on $2 a day or less.

Here is my favorite poem:

Hokusai says look carefully.
He says pay attention, notice.
He says keep looking, stay curious.
He says there is no end to seeing.
He says look forward to getting old.
He says keep changing,
you just get more who you really are.
He says get stuck, accept it, repeat
yourself as long as it's interesting.
He says keep doing what you love.
He says keep praying.
He says everyone of us is a child,
every one of us is ancient,
every one of us has a body.
He says every one of us is frightened.
He says everyone of us has to find
a way to live with fear.
He says everything is alive-
shells, buildings, people, fish,
mountains, trees. Wood is alive.
Water is alive
Everything has its own life.
Everything lives inside us
He says live with the world inside you.
He says it doesn't matter if you draw,
or write books. It doesn't matter
if you saw wood, or catch fish.
It doesn't matter if you sit at home
and stare at the ants on the veranda
or the shadows of the trees
and the grasses in the garden.
It matters that you care.
It matters that you feel.
It matters that you notice.
It matters that life lives
through you.
Contentment is life living through you.
Joy is life living through you.
Satisfaction and strength
is life living through you.
Peace is life living through you.
He says don't be afraid.
Don't be afraid
Look, feel, let life take you
by the hand
Let life live through you.

If Hokusai's beautiful words felt like a breath of fresh air then this extraordinary video will bring you home
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working on an entrepreneurial venture I'm excited about...the world's first cartoon search engine. No really. Committed to waking up a little more every day.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I play guitar, piano and basketball. I like creating organized systems on my computer using Google docs to organize everything. I communicate well and try to have a sense of humor about everything that would be improved by it.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm easy going, fun to talk to, and easy to be with and most people find me intelligently funny and self effacing.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I like well written screenplays and the films that come from them. If they can make me cry then I enjoy them even more. Theaters are the one sanctified place to let my emotions really flow. I like watching the Charlie Rose Show, Jon Stewart and Seinfeld is still funny to me. The east bay parks are my hot spot. Being in nature is as good as it gets. I love Redwood Trees and am grateful they exist in our local parks. They only exist in California, Oregon and China. Most people don't realize how rare a treat our parks are. Favorite book, Prince of Tides. Pat Conroy, what a writer.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Friendship, Humor, Something to strive for, Health, and that activity we all like so much. I like French kissing with a dash of American thrown in.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I spend most of my time thinking about how can I use my life for something worthwhile.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Movie, friends, working on stuff I need to work on.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I love dogs. They’re like kids who never grow up.
