I read it when I was around 10: There are kids playing catch outside but the ball is suspended in mid-air, there's a couple waking up in their apartment and they discover that when they are touching, time stops. The ending is vague, I remember the land lord banging on the door...I was mesmerized by this story, but I didn't understand it. It was in Omni Magazine around 1979...(It was the first time I saw that magazine [and the works of H.R. Giger in it} I spent my allowance money on it every time it came out, candy and make-up, I shoplifted after that.) If anyone knows the title or the author, I'd love to know...and I may give a you a gold star.
