Well I'd like to think I'm a bit of a renaissance man; love the arts, design, history, film, theatre, music and literature (always got 3 or 4 books on the go at one time and can't come to terms with the kindle. Having said that a lot of it is trashy fiction).
Can't wait to get outdoors at the weekend and love to be outside doing stuff.
I cook and can make some pretty impressive dishes (whilst sometimes sipping red wine Keith Floyd style). Love to eat out at exciting new restaurants, cafes and bistros
Enjoy travel and seeing new things.
Work hard and extremely ambitious. Typical working class lad trying to better himself really.
In short though believe life should be lived with laughter and fun (bit pointless otherwise).
Appreciate I'm someone who can be a contradiction at times; drive a car people wouldn't expect but have national trust/english heritage membership stickers in the window. Can be comfortable sitting in a room full of academics discussing policy or stood in a pub bantering with a bunch of builders. Don't get nervous standing talking in front of hundreds of people but can be shy and quiet sometimes (mainly when I'm tired it must be said). In all, suppose I'm someone comfortable in their skin and happy with who they are. So sod the contradictions and enjoy what makes you happy I say.
Ideal person is someone can connect with, banter with, enjoy being in their company either in silence or constantly talking (I do love to talk). Do love beautiful eyes and a winning smile.
Looking, ideally, to meet that perfect someone but more than happy to make new friends, have great times and meet people I would never have got the opportunity to meet along the way.
