I moved here about three years ago. Although I have fantasies about reverting to a nomadic lifestyle, since I've finally found a job I love, it looks like I'll be sticking around a bit longer.

Like many in this town, my work is in the field of international development. I work at a government agency, focusing on monitoring and evaluation of foreign assistance programs and supporting civil society organizations around the world in their work.

Food: Seafood. I grew up on the beach in Florida so I swoon over anything from the ocean. I suppose that makes me a pescatarian.

Music: All Songs Considered is my gateway to lots of awesome things. I love discovering new music. But when it comes to putting on something I can sing the words to it's usually something from the 70s: the Talking Heads, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, the Dead, Bowie...
