hello.
im terribly new to this, so bear with me.
im a college student currently taking some time off (a year) and working odd jobs. ive done everything from clerical duties to child care. at this moment i find myself fascinated with the food industry. i am awesome in the kitchen. really.
ive been told that i have a perceptive and sometimes sharp sense of humor and while my tendency is to find the humor in just about every situation( including, unfortunately, inappropriate moments), im not afraid or unaccustomed to serious and thoughtful conversation.
im more reserved than id like to be. i wouldnt consider myself shy, i just hold my cards close.
being outdoors is one of my favorite ways to spend my free time. it doesnt matter how/ why im outside as long as im walking and the scenery is changing.
im rarely without a cup of coffee. i can drink tea, but i like my caffeine dark and strong (there is no innuendo there, if you're looking. . .) .
i cannot possibly be without my ipod for more than a few hours at a time.

again, taking time off from college and living a life of utter randomness.

im a conversationalist through and through. and i guess i would consider myself good at engaging people and maintaining their attention. . . mostly, though, i find people really interesting.
writing is an awesome experience, though i never end up saving any of it or showing anyone.
in the same vein, i love analytical reading, writing, and discussion. and not just in an academic context. i love to talk, i love to think, and id love it if half the shit that comes out of my mouth would make sense to anyone. ha.
