My self-summary
I'm a moderately hardcore CS geek with leanings into assorted forms of spiritual exploration and a staunch libertarian streak.

I'm at my best when I feel like I'm accomplishing interesting things, and I tend to channel this into technical projects...though I'm getting more and more interested in real estate projects and how they can relate to community development.
What I’m doing with my life
Right now -- healing. I spend a year and a half in bed recovering from a broken leg and a couple surgeries. Right now, I'm focused on getting back in the saddle. Spending a lot of time at the gym or at physical therapy and a lot of time recovering from the same.
The first things people usually notice about me
People tell me I have a certain gravity.

I'm not sure what that means, but it is fun to watch people get sucked in.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I love musical theater and cirque du soleil. Getting caught up in the excitement of a large crowd is a lot of fun for almost any artist.

Food: I'm getting back into cooking after a couple-year break. Seem to be excited about meat these days.

Music: mika, beatles, pink (both martini and floyd), assorted mantra (bhagavan das, snatam kaur), gaga if I'm in the right mood, just about anything from the 'shortbus' and 'juno' soundtracks. A boy got me hooked on scissor sisters recently. Totally his fault.

Movies: it's rare for me to really love a movie. I'll go see a blockbuster or tag along with friends for something amusing. But it isn't a big part of my life.

Good sci-fi does turn me on (some star trek, bsg).
The six things I could never do without
the net
my yoga practice
vegetables
sunny days
hot water (bathtub, sauna, even just a long hot shower -- body needs it)
people to talk too
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Right now...I'm brainlocked on figuring out what I want from my home. Putting a lot of time and energy into getting it to feel right.
On a typical Friday night I am
Ideally -- a date with a cute boy or a small gathering. Maybe a show or a nice dinner.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I love trashy chic-lit / chic-flicks. They're just so wonderfully awful.
I’m looking for
  • Guys who like guys
  • Ages 24–36
  • Near me
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating, activity partners
You should message me if
You are an adam scott (ben wyatt on parks and rec) type. Short/scrawny/nerdy/nervous/silly. It's a huge turn-on.
