I'm a proud Angeleno, born and raised. I've studied and lived in other cities, in other states, but I keep coming back to L.A. I love that there are still so many parts of the City to discover.

I don't take myself seriously and have a silly sense of humor.

I like trying new things and challenging myself...I can set most of my fear aside to experience new things. For example, roller coasters mortify me, but I'll get on most of them if dared (provided I scream my head off!!).

I like meeting and making friends that teach me new things and help me learn about myself.

I'm trying to make more time for the things that matter; being a good friend, a loving sister and a patient auntie...

I work hard, professionally, so that I can have the means to spend time and truly enjoy doing the things I love; running and hiking on a mountain trail, enjoying meals with friends, reading, writing...

I'm really good at laughing at myself. I can be a bit self-deprecating, but NOT a sad-sack!

I'm good at going with the flow, trying (most) things at least once!

I suppose some of the first things people notice about me are my laugh (loud), my smile...my ambiguous "look"; I've been mistaken for being Filipina, Hawaiian, Polynesian, biracial...

I enjoy reading fiction, biographies/auto-biographies, short stories and satire. I'm currently reading David Rakoff's "Half Empty". I give all kinds of movies a chance; the most recent movie I've seen is "The Sessions" (the movie before this was the latest Bond movie-Skyfall). I am intrigued by the movie: "Rust and Bone".

I enjoy a good meal and good company...and I believe there is nothing more loving and generous than cooking a good meal, from scratch, for someone.

I listen to a wide range of music; the last concert I attended was Neil Young with Crazy Horse at the Bowl. I can't wait to see Fleetwood Mac next year, and am excited for the newest Thom Yorke foray with Atoms for Peace...
