My self-summary
I'm compulsively creative, have terrible handwriting, and stay up
way too late. I love good shows in small venues, black coffee, and
learning new things. I've realized that kindness is a strength not
a weakness, and I try to live every day as consciously and
deliberately as I can. With mixed results.
What I’m doing with my life
Bay Area born and raised, but like the song goes, 'you don't know
what you've got til it's gone.' Fortunately for me, SF was just one
long, boring drive away from the parking lot of LA. I'm thankful
for all the great experiences doing the TV thing in Southern
California gave me, but now that I'm headed down a slightly
different creative career path I couldn't be happier.
I’m really good at
Finding my new favorite place to eat
Being on time
Always being open to new experiences
Being masculine without being a douche

The first things people usually notice about me
I don’t know. The cleft in my chin? Thanks grandpa.

The six things I could never do without
Nature - Despite my experience in the Boy Scouts, I still love the
outdoors. Being out in nature puts things into perspective like
nothing else. Sleeping out in nature reminds me of my place on the
food chain.
Good food - I can’t cook anything more complicated than mac and cheese. I think this is part of what makes discovering new foods and great restaurants that much more exciting.
A comfortable hoodie – When I’m not going out I live in them. My favorite has a banana slug on it.
Collaboration – Seems trendy to call this a ‘partner in crime’. A good idea/experience/view is better when it’s shared.
My laptop - Good for staying connected, though not necessarily for making real connections. I do a lot of work on my laptop, and it’s an important creative outlet. Paper and pencil are pretty important too.
Iphone - Never thought I would be one of those people. But yeah…

Weekend plans
Story structure
Self improvement
How to make the world just a little bit better. (I’m serious about this one. The other day I went dumpster diving for a bunch of stuffed animals someone threw away. They’re going to make a huge difference to about thirty underprivileged kids).
