Over the last few years running has become a big part of my life. I ran my first marathon in 2009 and have since completed several more as well as shorter distance races and ultra marathons. Running is my therapy. I love to challenge myself, and so I took up two more sports and began competing in triathlon. Last summer I experienced my proudest moment yet when I completed my first Ironman race, something I thought impossible not long before. For me it's about pushing bounderies. And finding that just maybe, there really are none.
Both of these activities have taken a backseat since I've gone back to school, but being active is a very important part of my life, so I still try to sweat as often as possible! And because it's had a big impact: I tore my ACL and meniscus skiing this past January, so getting my sweat fix has been a little bit of a challenge during recovery : /
