My Self-Summary
Hey there! Alec here. I'm a not-yet-settled college graduate trying
to balance personal goals with an immoderate fear of debt. I have
serious initial shyness, but only sometimes and only
initially.
For most of my life I stayed at home and read fantasy and science fiction, but once college started I decided that friends and physical activity are both worthy reasons for not staying at home - and I do not regret this. I do still love reading and learning, though.

What I’m doing with my life
Right now I'm working a boring job and taking small steps towards
something new. I've taken a few classes every semester since my
undergraduate career ended in the meantime. I don't always find it
easy to do both.
I ask a lot of myself -- but it's going to take a lot for me to be satisfied with myself. Sometimes I'm overcome by the joy of learning, sometimes I feel exhausted and spent before I even open my books. It is difficult to be aimed at multiple targets.
