Transporter (but only the 1st one), Logan's Run, Moonrise Kingdom,
Out of the Past, Despicable Me, Hellboy, Cabin in the Woods was a
hoot,Beasts of the Southern Wild, Marwencol, Her had my brain
tripping for days, Beauty is Embarassing. Movies with a twist that
you don't see coming. Most anything by the Coen Brothers,
Hitchcock, Billy Wilder, George Clooney (as writer or director) and
Tim Burton (though he's getting sort of tiresome these days).
Recently saw a couple of Turkish films that, while I really enjoyed
the movies, damn they were long.
Masterpiece anything and the occasional big sporting event. Really,
I don't watch much TV except for movie rentals.

Swervedriver, My Bloody Valentine, Goldfrapp, Chemical Brothers,
Louis Prima, Chet Baker, Sonic Youth, The Replacements, The
Didjits, Morphine, Dandy Warhols, Violent Femmes, The Minutemen,
Bossa Nova,The Verve, Medecine, Chelsea Wolfe, Bombay Dub
Orchestra, Fluke, Andy Hunter, Black Flag/Henry Rolllins, Girl
Trouble, Beat Happening, The Nomads, Hybrid, Justice, Miles Davis,
Gang of Four, Alex Chilton, Loretta Lynn, VU, Jesus and Mary Chain,
XTC, The Sea and Cake, Tame Impalas, Joy Formidable, The Black
Angels, She and Him, Muse, Earth Wind & Fire, Eisley Bros. and
old school anything. Lately I am really digging this young kid
named Nick Waterhouse. Not a fan of the Top 40, American Idol
produced or anyone that came off a TV show. Saw the Meat Puppets
not too long ago and they KILLED it.
My new (at least to me) sonic discovery is Moon Duo.

I like food, all sorts. I especially like well made food that isn't
super fancy or too precocious. I really like eggs. Fresh veggies,
especially on the grill. I like Thai, Vietnamese, Chinese and
Japanese food. I like seasonal cooking. I like knowing where my
food came from but I admittedly have a pantry of snacky type things
and good chocolate. I like Biwa, Bollywood, Terrebonne Depot, The
Observatory, Toro Bravo, VQ, Cameo Cafe (breakfast) and Evoe (which
