My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm an introvert, ex-student and a huge music lover who has almost always got some song or other stuck in his head.
I've been playing guitar for almost 12 years and write my own music, some of which you can hear here:
I've recently started learning violin and piano.
I'm currently learning Polish and French in my spare time.
Current song stuck in my head:
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I've recently finished a degree in Psychology and Philosophy at the university of Reading and am ready to find a job make something of my self.
I'm in the process of teaching my self music theory to fill in all the areas I missed whilst learning guitar.
Languages are another passion of mine and I'm currently learning French, Polish and Russian with plans to learn German and Hindi as well.
Last year I started home brewing and have been making my own beer, wine and mead.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Coming up with random information, knowing "what song that is", playing guitar, I'm pretty good at cooking.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I wear glasses for my terrible short sightedness. Sometimes I have facial hair?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: A Clockwork Orange, The Diamond Age, Jonathan Strange and Mr Norell, Cloud Atlas.

Films: Fightclub, Scott Pilgrim vs the World, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Truman Show, American Beauty, Donnie Darko, Groundhog Day.
My preference is for films that make you think and rely on strong characters rather than overblown special effects.

Programs:How I Met Your Mother, Community, Peep Show, Charlie Brooker's Screen Wipe.
I love shows that can balance humour with a more serious story line and I tend to be loyal to shows long past the point where I should have given up on them (looking at you Dexter and Supernatural).

Bands: Too many to list but The Mars Volta, Autechre and Sonic Youth have been long time favourites of mine. Feel free to check my account if you want to see more of what I like.
I have quite extensive taste in music and have made it a goal to try and sample a little bit of as many genre's as I can however I would probably get pigeonholed as a metal head as I listen to a lot of "screamy music" and if you take issue with that we probably won't get along.

Foods: Pizza (any is good but home made is amazing), Indian, Italian, Chinese. I love spicy food and tend to add sriracha chilli sauce to most of the things I eat. I do a lot of my own cooking and find real joy in eating something I've made myself.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Music (which I guess means my iPod or phone to listen to it with)
My guitar (I have mine next to me whenever I'm at home)
Good alcohol
Sleep (I function appallingly on little sleep)
Life would be pretty inconvenient without an internet connection.
Empathy (there's nothing worse than someone who can't relate to other people's feelings)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Songs I've heard throughout the day or song ideas I have for my own music. When I see a disappointing film I think about how it might have been improved.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Probably grabbing a drink with my friends at a near by pub; clubbing just isn't my thing. I'd happily talk about music I like but often find myself engaged in some kind of deep philosophical conversation.
Friday night is a pretty good time to hit the gym since most people are out doing other things.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Getting trains makes me nervous. I'm so paranoid about getting on the wrong train and ending up miles away that I obsessively check the times and platform sign and can't relax until I've reached my destination.
