My self-summary Propose an edit

I have a modest home in Amarillo which I've owned for about 12 years now. I sometimes wish I had a landlord (because I hate fixing things myself), but appreciate the fact that people rarely bother me there. I like that I can decorate is as obnoxiously and as often as I wish.

I'm an animal lover (not in the icky way) and have two pit bulls. I love them a great deal more than 99.9% of the people on this planet and I've been working closely with the National Humane Society for the prevention of dog fighting. Michael Vick should be glad *I* didn't get to sentence him.

I bore easily and usually find myself searching for what's around the next corner. I'm an ass about spelling and grammar, so if you spell it "grammer", I'm not speaking to you. I love to write stories and occasionally paint. In my not spare time, I live at the radio station.

I should spend more time on this section as it currently seems a bit bland and elementary, but I've got stuff to do. I'll get back to this later.

What I'm doing with my life Propose an edit

I am the Promotions Director, PSA Director and Event Coordinator for 6 Cumulus stations in Amarillo - I'm also the co-host for the #1 morning show in the Texas Panhandle. I love entertaining people but I hate the paperwork.

On the side, I work for my brother who is a rather prominent comedian. Since he has whole heartedly encouraged me to write, I've been working on what I hope will soon be a book. It is sure to amuse people at my own expense and I'm ok with that. In the past year I have booked, promoted, and hosted several comedy shows. I'd love to continue doing such but it's a pretty big pain in my ass... at least until after the show when we all get plowed.

Oh, and I'm the announcer for the Route 66 Roller Derby Girls' games too which is pretty fun. :)

Organizing events, shopping for impractical shoes, avoiding chores, proof-reading, and drinking beer. I also believe I'm a damn good driver.

People usually hear me before they see me - which I suppose makes me easy to spot in a crowd. After that, I'd guess the ink.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food Propose an edit

Books: I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell by Tucker Max, Stupid and Contagious by Caprice Crane, and a lot of other funny stuff I can't remember right now and I'm not getting up to go look. Also, everything by Hunter S. Thompson.

Movies: I like shoot 'em ups and comedies. Pretty much anything by Quentin Terantino (some Robert Rodriguez), Fear and Loathing, Boondock Saints, Crank, Crash, Lock Stock & Two Smoking Barrels, Snatch, Fight Club (who doesn't?), Gangs of New York, Sweeney Todd, Transporter, The Aristocrats, Knocked up, 40 Year Old Virgin and those of common ilk.

Music: The selection is quite eclectic and not limited to the following -

Food: I'm pretty simple - I like meat, cheese and bread. But not onions or celery - in any form. I also loathe tomatoes, but appreciate ketchup.
