My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
My cat Zoey is endlessly entertaining, so you're already at a disadvantage because you are competing with her and her seemingly bottomless well of kitty noises.

I recently hit a major financial goal and it's been a big psychological boost - I know now that I can achieve such goals if I work at it and suddenly everything is open. Volunteering with the SPCA and looking into the local astronomical society. I am registered with sacgeeks.com but I never go to any of the events.

I'm usually happy with a big dumb action movie, an occasional elitist drink, and good company. If the movie has a raging metal soundtrack, it's like my own little Nirvana.

Lately I'm super into comic books and superheroes for some reason, and I can't seem to get enough boneless wings or waffles.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Squeezing every dollar I can out of work to save for a house. It's basically the only goal I have right now. That and trying to get more money.

Two promotions in less than a year is helping a lot.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I can air drum the entirety of Toxicity, and I'm pretty sure I've done so on at least 2 occasions.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm a big dude and I smile too much.

I own 3 DK published Smithsonian tomes on Music, the Universe, and the last one is a giant Atlas, because I'm insatiably curious about this crazy world and I believe knowledge is a good thing. My favorite book of all time is the Counte of Monte Cristo. I own too many Blu rays but it's almost all stuff I saw and enjoyed, even if it's a guilty pleasure (ahem, Resident Evil). I also own the entirety of Gilmore Girls and West Wing. I really only care about Archer, Game of Thrones and Walking Dead on TV these days. I will watch the pilot of a bunch of stuff on Netflix and then ignore the rest of the series. Except Justice League Unlimited, which was awesome. My music love remains metal in its myriad forms (there is a sub-genre called Funeral Doom which is quite good), but I also like classical, Weird Al, some jazz, mariachi, and lately *gasp* dubstep and electronica, which I always swore I'd hate. Lastly, I love meat, potatoes, and snickerdoodles.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
When I can get back to Disneyland.

Also, how the world will change and humanity will evolve in the centuries and millennia after I'm long gone. It's the main reason I hope death isn't just a *poof* end...I'd like to see what happens to the world. Is that long term or what?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I finally have Friday nights completely free for the first time in 18 months, so hopefully there is no "typical" for a while. Help me find a new way to spend them.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I was scarred for life when my parents saw ET at the Drive-In when I was 3. I still can't watch it.
