On the other hand, I don't mind getting away from it all. I like to go camping, canoeing, bicycling, and hiking. I enjoy a good book now and again, though I watch some television. I like modern jazz and chilling out with an acoustic guitar.
I am a fixer: I like to fix things that break. I will commonly be found tightening loose screws, oiling chains and door hinges that squeak, aligning the coffee pot so it doesn't dribble, etc. I also like to solve peoples' problems.
I am fascinated by religions and religious beliefs, having tried on a few like one might try on dress-up clothes. Although I'm not religious at all I can still respect your beliefs and faith, even if it's not my own style; I don't judge people by how they dress.
I am a musician. I play, or try to play, just about anything I can get my hands on. So far the only instrument which has bested me, where I cannot make anything other than irritating squeals, is the oboe. (Damn you, uncapped double reed!) Once upon a time I used to write and record trite songs. Maybe someday I will again. For now, I spend some Sunday afternoons in my makeshift studio playing rock 'n' roll with whomever shows up.
I roll with a large crowd of geeks, freaks, and artists of all stripes. I dabble in circus arts like juggling, fire eating, and fire breathing. I have tried and failed to accomplish riding a unicycle. (Oh, the hilarity!) To say my crowd can be exciting at times is an understatement. I am very close to my friends and will generally do anything for them, as they saved me from a hum-drum life of normalcy. I spend a lot of time these days dancing and getting up to shenanigans with the Burning Man crowd.
I am witty, musical, and spontaneous.
